In August we had our annual Chatterton Family reunion in Paradise.  My kids look forward to it every year which makes me happy, because they rarely know half of the people there so it is always fun for them to make new friends.  They always think we are going to "Uncle Jerry's reunion" for some reason they always see him as the one in charge. I think it is always fun to see all of my aunts, uncles and cousins and their kids. This year didn't disappoint!
The first night I took Myah and Dawson home to sleep in their beds while Darin stayed with the older two and camped in the cabins.  Dawson did NOT want to leave, so I bribed him with a large marshmallow to eat on the car ride home.  This is what I found when I went to get him out of his car seat!  Who knew a single marshmallow could do so much damage!

On Sat. they were able to rent the water slide and the "Little Bear Bottom"  It had been several years since they had been able to rent it...I guess it is pretty hard to reserve.  Anyway my kids and Darin were in heaven.  They had so much fun zooming down the hill covered in bubbles!
Myah was a little unsure of whether or not she would have a good time as she looked down the hill....

Dawson thought it was great on the other hand and wouldn't stop climbing back up to do it again and again!

24th of July

These pictures are from the 24th of July.  To be honest, I can't even remember now what we did that day.  Something great I'm sure since Darin didn't have to work.  We must have been tired, because we made the kiddos shower and get ready for bed before the firework show and we didn't even let them wait until it was dark either so we must have really been tired.  This is why I need to blog when things happen and not 4 months later.  Oh well.  The kids had a lot of fun shooting off parachute men and looking for them when they landed!

Darin may have had the most fun of all!

Dawson was just in awe of it all.  He wanted to do more and more and more!

4th of July

On the fourth of July, I took Carter and Myah along boating to twin lakes with Max, My mom and Lesli and co.  Darin took Camden and Dawson to the parade in Hyrum with Kathie and her family, but he didn't take any photo's.  I love these pictures I captured of Max and Carter.  Max makes Carter look so little!  When did he have to go and grow up so fast!

After boating we met up at Darin's mom's house for dinner and a homemade firework show.  We had a lot of fun.  Here is Carter watching quietly.  Little did I know he would start his own explosive show later that night.  We had to deal with an awful stomach bug all night long!

Camden hung out in the garage when we started the sparklers.  He definitely won't be my pyrotechnic!

This little dude didn't want Carter to feel bad, so in the middle of the night he also joined in on the stomach bug action.  You would never know by how much fun he was having now!
