Utah, we love thee

I can't believe that the Utah state song, "Utah, We love Thee" has been replaced! That was just one of the many changes we noticed on our recent trip to Utah. Its been three years since we all took a trip there together.

Our main reason for the visit was to attend Jerry's sister's sealing to Eric Wray. We're so happy for them! It was a lovely wedding.  All the associated family time was priceless. Our kids cherish their cousins!

We took advantage of the great outdoors and family-friendly prices (compared to NY/NJ) to have a lot of fun. Summertime at home will not be quite so entertaining…

Big Frosty

We had a lot of fun building a Big Frosty! When it snows, we must make a snowman, and Calista is always the first to start!

We had a very fun Christmas morning.

Pre Christmas Fun

We had a lot of fun spending time together. Eden and Jerry had a lot of fun making cookies while Calista had fun making cookies for Santa with friends.

10th Annual Fails Family Christmas Open House

It is hard to believe, but we hosted our 10th Annual Fails Family Christmas Open House. Danae did a wonderful job getting everything together and there was a lot of fun, food, beautiful harp music, and a bit of craziness. We had it a little later in December this year due to hurricane (tropical storm) Sandy cleanup.

Macys Santa

We had a fun time going into the city (NYC) and seeing Macys Santa amongst other things. Well, actually most of us saw Santa, Calista flat out refused to see him.

Calista is Friendly

Calista is friendly at school. She has a list of boyfriends, and made herself a label that she taped to her outfit (and yes, did wear all day): "I am a friend for everyone".
