Why? Because..I'm done being a research assistant in UPM.
16 days left and I'm off on another journey.
Hopefully there will be another good news this month to celebrate.

First Draft Complete
Finally, after a rough journey of reading and searching and running all sorts of statistics and putting those thoughts down onto paper.....I've finally completed my first draft. I've also submitted to Prof and all I have to do now...are the minor details and wait...wait for Prof to edit and for me to correct it. Although it's not totally the end of my journey in Masters, it feels...GOOD. >.<
So, what's up ahead?

Just Moving On
April is coming to an end. It's been 3 months since my last update. Busy schedule is totally part of the reason for not updating. Anyway, here's the latest updates according to interesting important topics that you peeps want to know.
Work + Studies
Both of it kinda slowed down in Feb and March. But it's progressing well now.
For work, the only thing left to do is to get the report done. That is however on stall because of Prof? my colleagues? both of them? including me? Anyway, my contract ends in June, and I'll be telling Prof nicely that I'll stop when my contract ends. Reason: I need to earn more money if I want to get married >.<
For studies, I submitted the three months notification to submit thesis sometime in March, which means the earliest I can submit my thesis is in June and the latest is in August. Progress was also slow at first. Lazy to write the literature chapter. But, it's progressing. Had difficulty writing that silly SOP (statement of problem) section though. Been correcting a number of times. Have to admit though that I'm learning a lot from Prof in writing an effective thesis. She's quite a perfectionist, which isbad good. I've also submitted my article for publication. Currently in 2nd review process.
So, my aim is to get the report done by May and my thesis done by June so that Prof has 2 months to edit it. >.<
Family
All I can say is...I'm HOMESICK!!!! It's been that way since we shifted here. Probably coz I'm always alone when I come back. Dinner on my own. No one to 'talk' to. I don't often admit such things...but... I MISS MY FAMILY!!! PERIOD
Love Life
Love life was interesting 2 weeks ago. I gave him a surprise birthday party. I invited United Gang, my sisters and partners, his family (2nd sis turned up), his gaming friend. He was surprised though. Although he didn't like it, but he was happy. That was all that mattered. >.<
I did give him another surprise though. But he didn't know it was me. So, I'll just keep it a secret till the time comes to let the cat out of the bag >.< He loved it though.
Personal
Well...I've been growing. Learning a lot within these four months or so. However, there are still plenty of room for improvement. >.<
Circle of Friends
Sad to say that in this department...it's SsssLllllllOooooooWwwwww....or probably the right word is..Stagnant. Not hanging out much except with my colleagues during work time. Outside from work, nope...not hanging out with friends. Not chatting or keeping in touch as well.
One thing I've learned about myself lately...is that I'm good at making friends...but terrible at maintaining friendship. I'm always thinking about my friends...thinking of dropping by...catching up...BUT...there's the BUT...I don't take action. Even if I did take action, it'd be...like not taking action at all. Sad...but true.
So, to my dear friends out there who's been trying to get me out...Kerry, Jack, Ming, Matthew, United Gang, Ker Li, T2...I hope you'll forgive me for being such a terrible friend. But although I don't hang out or keep in touch, you peeps are constantly always on my mind and in my heart. =)
