Birthday

It is my sweet baby's first birthday. All day I have been thinking about the day he was born. It was an amazing day. When he was born and I saw all of his dark brown hair I was shocked. I was thinking, where did all this hair come from? He is the best baby ever. He has such a sweet and pleasant disposition. Happy first birthday, you are loved so much!

Summer time

I decided just recently to not go back to teaching next year. It was a really hard decision, because I will miss the kids and my amazing co-workers. I'm excited though because I am starting a preschool in my house and I get to stay home with my two adorable little boys. It is the best of both worlds for me, because I still get to teach and I get to stay home with my boys. My baby is turning one on Sunday, so I have had fun taking his one year old pictures in the backyard and around the neighborhood.

We have had a fun summer so far. We have spent a lot of time at the pool and playing outside. Boston has learned the fun chemical reaction between baking soda and vinegar and wants to do that experiment every day. We have also had endless fun with water balloons and squirt guns.

What's up yo.

We had a great Christmas and got some fun new things. Darin got me a camera that is small so I can easily take it with me. He does listen to me! I have been able to take some fun pictures. Boston got an inflatable cart to play Mario Cart. He thinks that he needs to sit on it all the time. We had a great time over the holidays and were able to spend time with family and friends.


Zach turned 6 months old yesterday. I can't believe how old he is now. He is the happiest baby ever. He is always smiling and giggling. He can always bring a smile to my face! Happy half birthday cutie.

Christmas Time

We recently got a compilation CD from our friends and we have been listening to it a lot. I forgot it one day and we didn't have it in the car and Boston was mad at me for not bringing it. He told me, "Well go get it Mom". I tried putting on different Christmas music for him, but he just told me he wanted the Christmas song. It made me laugh. I have made sure to have it ever since.



Last Sunday we had a Christmas Party. The boys got to see Santa Claus. Boston wanted to sit on his lap so he could have a football. He could see all the kids getting little toys from Santa and one of the toys was a football. Otherwise I don't think we would have been able to get him to see Santa. After he got done his cousin asked him he asked Santa for Mario Kart. I had to laugh because all the cousins know how much he loves Mario.

This was the best picture we were able to get. At least we are all looking right.

Halloween

I took Boston trick-or-treating this year. He was so excited to get on his costume. So we set off and went to the first house. He wouldn't even go to the door. Finally after dragging him up the stairs we made it. I thought he will want to go to the next house, because there were more treats. No way! I dragged him to about six houses. Finally I said lets go to our friend's house. We get to their house and he just walks in the door. Forget the candy, he wanted to hangout. So it wasn't a very successful outing as far as trick-or-treating goes, but oh well. There was less candy I had to deal with later.


Darin and I always have a blast carving pumpkins for Halloween.

Too Cute!

Boston loves his little brother so much. He always wants to hold him. Whenever he holds Zach he always says "take a picture mom." When he is in his face I wish he wouldn't like him so much. My favorite thing he says is "I love my baby Zach Attackers." I love my boys. I feel so lucky to have two cute boys.

Stormy Night

A few nights ago we had a thunderstorm roll through. Darin and I came upstairs after watching a movie and he noticed pee in the tub. We were both thinking what the heck. The dog had been so afraid to go outside during the storm, he jumped in the tub and went. Better there than on the carpet in our room. We both were laughing so hard I thought we were going to wake up the baby. Luckily the baby slept through the laughing and I don't have to clean the carpet.
