Driving Miss Marlee

Going on a dinner date with May May (Grandma) and Pop Pop (Grandpa).  Can you tell that she's just as excited about our adventure as I am?  Such a happy girl!

Minnie Pearl

Do you remember the country singer by the name of Minnie Pearl?  She use to perform on Hee Haw.  I use to just love her cute smile (so big that her eyes were just slits) and she wore crazy hats, all with the price tags still on them.  When I saw this picture of Marlee I thought of Minnie.

The Night Before Marlee's Birthday

I was on time to pick up my little Miss Marlee for our "Birthday Eve Date with May-May (Grandma)" and look who was waiting impatiently at the door ~ Miss Marlee!  We quickly grabbed our stuff (purse, stroller, car seat, diapers, etc.) and off we went to Barnes and Noble Bookstore.  Marlee loves books and well, what else can you do with a one year old?   We played and played and read tons of books.  Then she picked out a book she wanted, walked right up to the cash register and I bought it and we left.  On our way out we threw coins into the decorative fountain (and also played in it ~ just got her arms wet).  We sang in the car and laughed all the way home.  This is going to be a great tradition . . . Birthday Eve Date with Grandma.  Sad to think that I have to wait 365 more days for the next one!

It's Reaching 100 Degrees . . .

And that means bathing suit weather!! At least this little girl looks cute in her bathing suit! Me? Well I have a lot of work to do before you'll see me in mine.

Marlee McGoo is Walking!!

Can you believe it? She's 9 months old and starting to walk. She can stand for a long time without falling. Oh we are going to have to get in better shape to keep up with her.

She's Driving Already!!!!

Only 8 months old and has a car. How cute is this??
