Found a nearly perfect habit tracker app!
Loop Habit Tracker.
Pros:
- Minimalistic, elegant and user-friendly interface. Includes dark mode.
- Nice statistic screens.
- Not only daily tasks, but once in N days, N times a week or a month.
- 2 kinds of tasks: yes/no and numerical (e.g. count how many minutes, words, steps etc).
- An option to start the new day at 3am.
- Works offline, no registration, data is stored locally.
- Not only free and ad-free, but also open source! <3 <3 <3
- Other options that I currently don't need (task notes, reminders/notifications).
Cons:
- Data is stored locally, so if something happens to your phone, it's gone. But it's possible to export it to file, and backup with an external app. Also, manually restore from a backup file if you change your phone.
- No gamification ;)
