W-D 40. . . Who Knew?!!

Water Displacement #40. The product began from a search for
A rust preventative solvent and degreaser to protect
Missile parts. WD-40 was created in 1953 by three
Technicians at the San Diego Rocket Chemical Company. Its name
comes from the project that was to find a 'water displacement' compound.
They were successful with the fortieth formulation, thus WD-40.. The
Corvair Company bought it in bulk to protect their atlas
missile parts.

Ken East (one of the original founders) says there is
nothing in WD-40 that would hurt you...' IT IS MADE
FROM FISH OIL' . When you read the 'shower door'
part, try it. It 's the first thing that has ever cleaned
that spotty shower door. If yours is plastic, it works
just as well as glass. It is a miracle! Then try it on your
stovetop... It is now shinier than it has ever been before.

7 Random Things

Thanks Brooke . . .

1. I have a major fish phobia. I don't know why or what brought it on, but ever since I can remember, I have been freaked by fish. Yes, even the pretty, colorful ones! Sean took me to an aquarium when we were dating. I tried to stay calm because I didn't want him to think I was crazy, but I ended up in tears and making him take me out of there!

2. My favorite job ever was being a flight attendant. I would definitely do that again and stick with it if it were a good time for that kind of thing. It's not. Also, with a baby on the way. . .not the best of choices. I really loved it though!

3. Even though I will never do it, inside I always wanted to be a power woman on Wall Street! Haha! How weird is that? I don't think anyone would ever think that about me!

4. I've come to realize that good friends are more rare than anything else in the world and you're lucky if you have at least 1 true one. It's amazing to me how people fall away from one another the older we get. The closest people to me are related to me. I think my sisters in law have become my best friends. Most everyone else is there for me when it's convenient for them.

5. Sean and I only dated for 5 months before getting married! Crazy, but look at us go!

6. I hate garlic! HATE it! I don't even like to be in the house when someone is cooking with it! BUT - since I've been pregnant, it hasn't affected me that badly! I've even eaten a few things with garlic in it and I've been fine with it! Hopefully that won't change after Reagan comes!

7. Sean and plan on moving. . .probably away from Vegas. Sean hates it here and we both want to be somewhere where people are kind and genuine. It will be the hardest for me to leave my family. My biggest thought is not seeing my little nieces and nephews growing up. I LOVE them more than ANYTHING! That is the truth. I don't think anything makes me happier than seeing those little ones come through the door and give me hugs and kisses! But I wouldn't mind leaving and starting again somewhere else! I love new! I love new environments, new people and new opportunities! I'm not sure where we'll go and it won't be for a little while after the baby is born, but I'm all for it!

25 Weeks

Image
Image
I am 6 1/2 months now! Time is flying! Baby Reagan moves all over the place, mostly at night when I'm calm and still. She is so cute already! I just know it! Haha!
I feel great! I don't even feel pregnant right now. Aside from being a lot heavier (I've already gained 23lbs.) I feel normal. I can't imagine how much more weight I am going to gain if I have at least 3 months left! I feel better now than I have the entire time. I'm trying to stay busy while my energy last because I have no idea what my 3rd trimester will bring! I love feeling good though! I just wish I was working so I was constantly doing something. BUT - on the flip side, maybe I'm feeling so great because I'm not over doing it and I'm staying calm most of the time. I just thought of that! So maybe it's a blessing in disguise.

6 Months And Growing!

Here's a quick look back on how fast I've grown! I look at my first picture and can't even believe how much I've changed! My last two shots (23 weeks and 6 months) are kinda weird because it looks like they should be switched in their order. I must have just eaten a pan of homemade cinnamon rolls right before I took the one in the brown outfit! Haha!

Cinnamon Rolls From Scratch!

Image
MMM! On Sunday I made some cinnamon rolls FROM SCRATCH for the first time ever! Actually it was the first time I have made anything right from scratch! They were so good! They were very time consuming so by the time they were done I skipped over dinner and dug right into one of the warm, gooey goodness! We had a bunch of family over that night and I'm pretty sure they were all anticipating them as much as I was! I've never seen so many people eat their dinner so fast to get to the good stuff! This recipe was from my cousin (thanks Melissa!)! Good thing it made like 6 or 7 pans full of rolls. Everyone got to take some home! YOU'RE ALL WELCOME!!!

Yay For Nate And Shan!!!

My brother Nathan and sis Shannon gave me 3 bins full of baby girl clothes! Um, THANK YOU! I sat down and divided them up into months. It took me a couple hours because there is so much stuff! Most of it was probably only worn a couple times if that! I'm so happy and so thankful for them! This takes a load off. Now we can concentrate on getting the bigger things like baby furniture, stroller, carseat, etc. Woohoo! Thanks guys!Image
This is only some of the stuff!

Look at my cute little pups sleeping in the corner!

Oh ya. . .we got another dog! We adopted her a couple weeks ago (on my birthday). Braxton needed a friend. I always hated leaving her here alone while we went out or while we were both working. So. . .

This is HarleyImageImage
ImageSean named her. I call her Knarley Harley because she's got the knarliest (how do you actually spell that word?) underbite! She is a total sweetheart. She loves to cuddle. She and Brax get along great now. At first it was iffy. I think Harley just had to get comfortable before she opened up! They're so cute together!

We Are So Blessed!

I don't mean to rub this in the faces of those that are already 3 knee deep in snow, but is it just me or are we having the most amazing November weather??? It's 79degrees here today and could not be more perfect! It's unreal. I watch the weather back east and in the midwest and northern states and can't help but wonder how those people do it! I mean, it's sub temps elsewhere and we're still in shorts and tanks! Sean just keeps reminding me that it might be nice now, but the cause of it (global warming) is going to have bad effects later. Which, ok, I know that! But can we focus on the positive on a day to day and just enjoy the good while we have it!??! I'm just saying!

Think Pink

That's right. . .we're having a GIRL! It's so crazy to think pink when all we've done is talk about boys, boys, boys! I went in a week early because I got a bit worried about not feeling the baby. It had been about 6 days! I know they say it's normal for that to happen for a couple days, but 6??? That was too much for me! So we went in today and they had time to do my entire 20 week scan (it was scheduled for next Tuesday). It was so amazing to see that little heartbeat again and to watch her move her little arms and legs. Honestly, amazing. Of course I cryed the whole time! Sean was disappointed the minute he didn't see some testies. I know how bad he wanted a little buddy to cart around with him, but this means we'll just ave to try again! I ran out and bought some cute girly outfits thinking that he would feel differently once he saw them. I was right! It put a smile on his face and he admitted that he was ok and excited either way.

A VERY SCARY MOMENT. . .

The most dreaded part of the doctor appointment for me is when they weigh me! I think everyone is like that though. Well, I stepped on the scale and she moved the larger weight to 100 and then the smaller one down. She went past 20, past 30, past 40 and all the way to the end! Do you know what happens when the small weight gets to the end??? THEY MOVE THE LARGE WEIGHT TO 150!!! Uh- huh! She moved it! Then she proceeded to moved the smaller one down again! Past 20, past 30, past 40! My stomach literally sank! I could see the look on the nurse's face too. She was is shock! I finally spoke up, "This CANNOT be right!" At that very moment Sean falls over laughing! He was was dying! He had been behind me stepping on the scale! HAHA! I stared cracking up. It was pretty funny after I realized it was not true! During though, I truly almost had a heart attack! Whew. . .

WORDS WOMEN USE

I think this is so funny because it's pretty dead on! Haha!

#1 FINE: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

#2 FIVE MINUTES:
If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

#3 NOTHING:
This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.

#4 GO AHEAD:
This is a dare, not permission. Don't do it!

#5 LOUD SIGH:
This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing.
(Refer back to #3 for the meaning of nothing)

#6 THAT¹S OKAY:
This is one of the most dangerous statements a woman can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

#7 THANKS:
A woman is thanking you, do not question it, or faint. Just say you're welcome.

#8 WHATEVER:
Is a woman's way of saying F@#!K YOU!

#9 DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT; I GOT IT:
Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself, and probably should have in the first place. This will later result in a man asking, What's wrong?
(Refer back to #3 for the woman¹s response.)

#10 THANKS FOR YOUR HELP:
It doesn't really mean thanks but it means that she has asked you over and over, and over to do this, and now that you have finally done it, she is thanking you for helping her not to ask you AGAIN!.

Send this to the men you know, to warn them about arguments they can avoid
if they remember the terminology. Send this to all the women you know to
give them a good laugh, cause they know it¹s true!

And The Movements Begin!

About a week and a half ago I started feeling what I thought was the baby. How was I suppose to know, though!? I felt the lightest little tapping movements. Everyone told me that it would feel like butterflies or gas! It didn't feel like either. It was more like a little 7 1/2oz. baby knocking on my tummy to say hello! Haha! Or maybe like little bubbles popping. It was so light that I would have to stop talking and moving and just concentrate on it! Well, since that first time, up until tonight, it had only happened a few times. Last night Sean and I were laying in bed and he had his hand on my belly and I felt the baby. I mentioned it to him and he said that he had felt it too. I wanted to say, "Um, no you didn't. It is way too light and too early for you to be able to feel it on the outside." But I didn't. I let him think he felt it. Then tonight, after a conversation I had with Julie, one of my favorite people, about not feeling him/her too much and wishing I could, lots of movement started happening! I was driving home and my seat belt got a bit tight on my belly and I felt little tapping start! When I got home I sat on the couch and just waited for it! LOL! It was crazy how active this little sucker was! It was by no means any stronger than I have felt before, but it didn't stop! I was so content and happy to just sit there and feel every thump I could, that I almost forgot to put my hand on my belly and try and feel it on the outside! When I finally did. . .there was no doubt, I really could feel it on the outside! It was so nuts!!! So I guess I'm a dummy and owe Sean an apology for thinking he was retarded for a moment. But since he doesn't know I doubted him because I kept it to myself, I'll apologize to myself, too. :o) LOVE YOU BABE!
It's hard for anyone else to care or to be excited, so instead of screaming it out loud to everyone I knew, I sat and enjoyed this moment for myself. It was not creepy like I thought it would be. It was awesome. I guess everyone is right, you just will never know until you experience it for yourself. Don't get me wrong, I still don't want to feel anyone else' belly moving, that is still too much for me. But my little cupcake is a different story! I find myself craving it!

What Just Came Over Me?

What in the world would posses me to eat an entire bag of Flaming Hot Cheetos???!!! I feel so gross, but they were so good that I really couldn't stop. I'm regretting it now for the fact that I want to vomit. Ew, something is so wrong with that!

Boy or Girl?

I wish we knew! We went to the doctor this morning hoping to find out and the little snot wouldn't uncross his/her legs! Dr. Swainston spent like 15 minutes trying to get the little booger to spread em', but it didn't happen! So it's either a very shy little boy or mommy's perfectly well mannered little girl! ;) Honestly we all, including the doctor think it is probably a boy. We have to wait until November 18th to go back for our 20 week scan. I guess that is when they will do an intense scan of everything from head to toe to make sure it's all good! I guess we can wait!

Aside from that everything was good. I asked the doc if I was too small because everyone is shocked that I am not bigger than I am for being 17 weeks so it started making me think maybe something was wrong! Dr, Swainston said my belly was perfect, the baby looked perfect and that I am not to listen to ANY OF YOU ANYMORE!!!! Haha! I do tend to get a lot of different peoples' opinions and personal stories that make me think twice about a lot of things. NOT ANYMORE! We are going to do our thing and learn as we go. I got kind of overwhelmed about a week ago when I went to a friend's house and there were 6 or 7 other girls there that of course had all had at least 1 or 2 kids. So in comes the prego chick and I was like fresh prey for them! It was crazy how they all felt a need to tell me what do always do and to never do and make sure of this and that and remember this and don't worry about that! Then came all their own personal experiences that only freaked me out. Then on top of that, none of them seemed to agree on any of it! They all had something to say about everything someone else said! If that wasn't bad enough, one chick started bashing my doctor like it was making me feel good to hear her negative experience with him!(BTW - I actually love my doc! Contrary to what I have heard from a few peeps, he is very kind and personable with both Sen and I and he makes me very comfortable!) WHY??? Why do woman feel that it is necessary to make the girl that has no idea what she is doing feel aweful about everything she doesn't know yet? What is wrong with girls! Well, I've decided that I am never going to listen to a negative word anyone has to say about pregnancy, labor and delivery again. Everyone goes through their own things and I don't want to stress about what I don't need to stress about! So if you don't have a good, positive, fun, uplifting story and opinion to share with me, do me a favor and don't! :o) I feel good about where I am and how things are going and I don't need someone who had a bad expereince try to make mine worse so they feel better about their's! Ya know!

Just so you know - I am not addressing anyone that is actually reading this! You are all welcome to give me advice and opinions anytime! You are all the people I get to vent to because if you ARE reading this you actually care! So if you were wondering 'Hmm, I wonder who she's talking about.' it is all those people that don't really know you, strangers even, that feel it is their duty to speak their opinion when it is not asked for!

YOU PEOPLE - I LOVE!

Ok. I'm done. I'm happy again! WooHoo! I'm having a baby!

4 Month Belly Shot!

Image4 months and growing! It's so weird how fast it's going by. I really feel like I just found out! I have been fortunate for the most part. I havent been too sick. Hopefully things will continue to go this way the whole time! We couldn't be more excited to find out the sex, which hopefully will be this Tuesday! Sean wants a boy so bad and I'm not going to lie. . .I think I do too! I thought I wanted a girl (which will be amazing if that is what the little angel is) but after watching the different behaviors of the two different sexes, I think I would handle a boy better! I thought up until now that it probably was a boy, but i'm starting to second thoughts! Haha! I guess we'll see in two days!

Our Weekend

Sean and I went to AZ this weekend to support a couple of his team members that were fighting. (If I haven't told you, Sean has been training MMA, mixed martial arts, for a little while now.) We went with intentions of just watching, but when we got there they immediately asked Sean if he could fight! Mind you, he hadn't trained for this fight at all, his wrist and shoulder have been hurt pretty bad for a while and he was completely unprepared! So what does he do? Says yes and starts wrapping his wrists! This was the first time Sean would be fighting so you can imagine how I was feeling at this point! Not only was this his first fight, but it was the most unorganized event I've ever attended in my life! And to top it off, it was outside in the middle of the rodeo grounds with the sub-zero winds kicking my ass along with everyone else's, (but I'm the biggest baby and pregnant to boot so I definitely had it the worst! ;o) LOL!). Sean was suppose to be the 14th fight which was 3 fights after his teammate, Johnny. This event moved so slowly that that would have giving Sean a chance to watch Johnny and then have plenty of time to warm up. Well, right after Johnny, they called Sean's name! We were all shocked, but there was nothing he could do. No warm up! So with no warm up, being extremely physically freezing, not mentally prepared and it being his first fight. . . .he did an awesome job! Did he win? No. But under the circumstances, he was great! As soon as they called his name, I started getting all teary and nervous, but sucked it up! No one wants to see a fat, emotional wife sitting cage side and sobbing because her husband gets punched a couple times! Haha! His whole team asked me if I was ok throughout the event leading up to and even after it. It was very kind of them. They all said they were more worried about me than Sean! I didn't know this, but apparently Sean had let them all know that I was not feeling good about it and to keep an eye on me and make me feel more comfortable. He is so sweet. Next time I won't be so nervous because I know he'll be prepared!
ImageI know this is not the picture ya'll want to see, but can you believe I totally forgot to take pics because I was so nervous! This is just Sean sitting ring side being the time keeper for the kickboxers.
ImageThe next morning Sean was so sweet. All I wanted was fruit that morning so Sean got all these different kinds of things for me to eat. He didn't stop there! He actually washed and peeled everything and arranged it all perfectly for me.
ImageIf you look closely, you can see his eye is all bruised.

My First Baby Dream!

Two nights ago I dreamed that I had my baby. I was only as far along as I am now, but the baby was perfect! I was holding her in my arms and looked down and it was a beautiful baby girl (when I told Sean, he just smiled)! That was the one and only tender moment of my dream. I don't remember where I was, but I was getting ready to leave and realized I had way too many things to carry, one of them being the baby! So I did what any great mother would do and I wrapped my little bambino in a blanket and put her in my purse! No joke. I get in my car and fling my purse to the other seat like I always do! When I get home and reach for my purse, I realize I never put the baby in the car seat! She was fine, though! Haha! Plus, I looked back and didn't even HAVE a car seat! So my dream skips around and I was inside (I think I was at my parents' house) sitting on the couch and someone brought the baby to me and said they had been taking care of her. I had forgotten I even had the baby! Then another person brought her to me, then another and I realized I was truly forgetting about my child! It seemed to have no negative effect on her! Ok, so then Sean and I ended up at my friend, Autumn's house and we kinda of took it over. I'm not sure why we were staying with them, but her husband, Chad was not happy about it! I was changing the baby's diaper and it turned into a little boy that started speaking spanish to me and then peeing on me! Not just any pee. . .pressure pee! The diaper was flying all over! Then the friggin' little kid started hitting and kicking me! WHAT! Are you kiddin me!? I will return a child that behaves that way! So. . . .the point I'm taking away from this whole dream thing is that the little girl was completely sweet and tender and content. . . the boy. . .possessed! So now ask me the question of whether I would like a boy or girl! LOL!

Jenna's Baby Shower

Image
My sister-in-law, Jenna is due in November, but has been having early labor pains for about a month now. She is on medicine to stop the contractions, but they are going to take her off at 36 weeks and they think she will probably have the baby 2-3 weeks early! So we had her shower this past Saturday. It was mainly just family, but we had a good time!

My 3rd Month

I had my second doctors appointment yesterday! Again, I thought the doc was going to say it was just gas or something. I was still having a hard time believing it was true! I went in expecting to only hear the heartbeat and the doc flipped on the screen and there was my baby! Last time it was just a little flutter that you couldn't make out at all. This time. . . this time it was a baby! We saw the little face and the little hands up by it's little face! It was so unreal! Of course I started crying and Sean just smiled ear to ear. I am slightly a bit more convinced that it's true now! Haha! This is something I wasn't sure I would ever experience, by choice. I went my whole life thinking children weren't for me. Everyone thought I was nuts, even I questioned myself, but I felt pretty strongly about it. Then about a year ago I was overwhelmed with a feeling a can't describe, but I knew I should have a baby. Weird. Now that it's happening, I couldn't be more excited. Sean has wanted kids since the day I met him. When I told him I wasn't sure about that, I think he pushed the thought aside and just accepted it. Now that he is going to be a daddy, I'm not sure I've ever seen him more excited!
So back to the appointment ~ After he switched the screen off, he realized that we were only suppose to listen to the heartbeat and not do the whole ultrasound! Haha! Bonus for us! So then he switched the machine back on and turned on the audio and we got to see it again AND hear the heartbeat! I don't understand why it's such a big deal to have
an ultrasound every time. It took no time at all and it wasn't this long drawn out procedure. They should definitely do every time. It eases a mother's mind and makes all that much better! Anyway, that particular machine didn't have a printer so we weren't able to get pictures. I go back in 4 weeks though and hopefully by then they can tell us that it's a GIRL and we can get a printout!

This is my third month. There is a definite belly there! I was even trying to suck it in and it was not happening!
