We didn't fall of the face of the earth
Life has had us in the fast most of the time not knowing which direction we are going. Or if any of use are in the same lane.LOL But we are doing ok and pluggin along. We have had lots of ups and downs over the last few months, but we are hanging on tight until this freeway takes us to a slower paced side road. We hope everyone is doing well. I will try to be better at posting the ups parts of our life. But TTFN

We went from boring to exciting....
We have went from boring to jamming it all into one week. It has been a great spring break even though I have a bad cold. We have been hiking twice had a birthday and now Jerrid's brother Brian and his family are here to visit. Brain have to leave for Iraq at the end of this month. This is his third time going over there, he will be gone for a year. His family just moved from Seattle to San Diego and he got his papers telling him he had to go.
They came to see us before he leaves. I took some pictures yesterday so I thought would share them.
Nice looking Family, We haven't seen Cole for a long time. It nice to see them all together.
Jenny is the oldest of their children and she has a nice wonderful husband Adam and her five month old baby boy Boston.
Wow this is a new record for me , this is the most i have ever posted in one day and in one week, for that matter it may be the most I have ever done in one month. Go me!
Darcy's Birthday
Darcy is now 15, holy cow we are training another driver. She is hoping that she passes the permit test today.
Happy Birthday dear Darcy, we celebrated all day long

Family Adventure part two
We tryed the hike behind Paradise Canyon just off Snow Canyon Parkway again. Earlier this time so it wasn't as hot and we had more energy. We made it all the way!! It took a little longer then we thought but it was so worth it.
We invited Paul to come along this time. Walking from our house we get to go under the Parkway in a tunnel, the boys think this is so cool
As we sat to rest at Turtle rock the big kids decided they wanted to climb just behind we we sat just for fun. Mercy and Paul are king and queen of the hill.
Darcy found a hole in the rock. It reminds me of when we went to the Grand Canyon last year.
Hey the real Spilt rock who new, I wonder if the company "Split Rock" know about this???
We made it all the way to the top!!! And what a view. I will post the view in a few minutes I have used the max space for uploading photo's so I have to split it up.

Mercy's First Adventure
Well Mercy decided that she would go on an adventure without us, just like we went without her. (just kidding)
Paul and his parents were going to the Valley of Fire for a hike and invited Mercy to with. (Mercy and I call it the fireworks place)
I was reluctant to let her go that's the farthest she has been without us. But she is 17 and a half after all and Paul's parents were going as well and they have been dating for over 2 years now, so I was a brave mommy and let her go. She took some awesome pictures and had lots of fun. She really like the Petragliffs. (I don't know if that is spelled correctly)
She made it back safe and sound. I don't know much about these pictures?
Mercy and Paul
This is neat, it's a little pond that is kinda a heart shape.
Awesome old cabins Mercy said that each one has it's own fireplace.
The writting is on the wall. lol

Family Adventure
We decided to go on a family walk. We decided to get Mr.and Mrs. overweight and out of shape out for some fresh air and exercise. Oh boy hold on, hey we didn't cause an earth quake. It was actually fun. Mercy was at work so she didn't get to go.
What a rowdy bunch of supposed bunch of hikers. LOL!
We aren't sure if this cool rock has a name so we named it turtle rock cuz it looks like a turtle
We found a dirt slide on the way back home. I thought Jake was gonna try to slide down it. He was able to resist.
There is a little stream that we needed to cross over. How cute it is. The awesome thing is that there are lots of little trails within walking distance from where we live. We want to go exploring more around this area. And we can all get out, get moving and hopefully some of us might get into shape.
