Easter Weekend

We had a fun Easter weekend with lots of friends.

We attempted to go to BYU's Easter Egg Hunt. 

The time was advertised wrong and we didn't feel like waiting an hour and half until we could get in.

So we ended up going over to the Crouch's house and did our own egg hunt.

 

Before we left BYU the Easter Bunny showed up.

Matix LOVED him.

I didn't even have to tell him to smile.

For dinner we went to the Crouch's again.

We all brought our own meat to grill and then a side to share.

Matix could have played trucks outside with Daddy all night.

Freezer Breakfast Burritos

Over the weekend I made some freezer breakfast burritos with some friends.

My good friend (and old roommate) Kelsey posted a recipe on her blog for them.

Catching Up

Where does the time go?

I happened upon my blog and realized it has been a month since I last posted.

This is what has been going on in the past month...

We have had some really nice weather and have taken full advantage of it.

Matix is really into soccer right now.

After playing outside with his tiny ball, Doug went and got him a ball that is his size.

These flowers are right outside our window. 

They are beautiful, but smell like cat urine.

The boys are her sub grandchildren.

We got to see Aunt Rachel. 

Rachel's older sister got Married and we went to the reception.

Jax got to play with his little girlfriend Harper.

 We've had a busy last month.

This week my family comes into town and I'm so excited.

Both of my sisters will be here.

We all haven't been together in 2 years.

I'm so excited family time!

"I'll go inside someday"

We are blessed to live 5 min away from the Provo Temple.

This makes for the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Matix loved walking/running around it.

After Nana left, my parents came to stay with us for a week.

They were a ton of help. 

I'm so grateful they were able to come be with us.

Matix was in heaven having Pepa here. 

My mom and dad spoiled Matix everyday. 

 It took Matix a week before he wanted to hold Jaxon

It was really cool and even had a jump.
