He is the sweetest baby. He LOVES his brothers even though he ends up crying almost every time they are around. He is starting to be fascinated by the dogs. He's eating avocado. He's CRAWLING! He goes-with-the-flow. He makes me want a million more babies.

5 months
It's amazing how fast it's gone. Here are some pics from my phone. One of these days I'll pick up the camera again.

Road trip!
Last Tuesday Mike and I packed up the kids and drove over night to FL (about 19 hours with stops). We had a great visit with family and got to feel like we were in a family vacation. We went to the beach, Seaworld, the zoo, on the boat, the beach. But I brought a camera with a dead battery and forgot the charger. Thank goodness for my phone!

Life with three...
So far!

Taken by Heather Traxel
Things are going really well. I think because of my better understanding of the stage Elliott is in (which was very new to me when he was born and Brooks was in it) and my "different" expectations for what life would look like around here. Both Brooks and Elliott LOVE Shepard (or Fluffy-as Elliott calls him) and want to hold him and touch him and kiss him and love him and hold him and hold him! But who wouldn't!?!

Brooks is 39.5 months and so busy! He just moves constantly. He loves puzzles and cars/trucks and Oeoeos (Oreos).

Taken by Heather Traxel
Elliott is 21.5 months. He's starting to talk a lot and mimics Brooks (words like what? And ummm) and Shepard (crying and grunting)! He is a tough kid and has a bruise on his forehead permanently.

Taken by Heather Traxel (bruise edited out)
Shepard is 6 weeks and is a great baby. We have been so blessed with great babies. He eats like a champ, sleeps great in between feelings and is really starting to smile and coo. Poor little guy has had a cold since he was born (it seems), but that's probably inevitable with two olders and being born in the winter.

We are having a great time over here!
