St2m2d

Hiya~ It’s a beautiful start of weekend (I meant Saturday cz..oops..it just passed 12am) today and I shall name it “The Lazy Day” (obviously it’s named after The Lazy Song)

13. Listening to selected fav songs while waiting bus (just the sensation of having music surrounding you and humming along is superb)

14. Did a small deed on my way home (a deed is a deed and I shall not mention)

15. Stayed on bed, on my lappy (endearment for my laptop), read a fav fiction

16. Took a long nap (2 hours considered long =S)

17. Update myself watching Kevin and Michael in action (The Amazing Race 17) They are the pride of Asians! The spirit and the kindred they shared is just purely encouraging.

18. For getting both numbers coincidentally. (If you’d noticed the above statement) Yay!

19. Really like how Asian Americans like Ryan Higa, KevJumba, Poreotics, Quest Crew, Far East Movement made their way to gain fame and make Asians like me proud!

20. Oh! Almost forgot (how could I), I witnessed LIVE Fairytale aka A Royal Wedding LIVE~ just so sweet~ not all will have that kinda dream come true (though I doubt if I’d liked it, oh well~)

21. To eat till my heart’s content (oops, stomach) without caring about my later-bulging-tummy with few of my good friends.

(CKTan, KBKan, FXue, SPQuek, WJKoo, MM, DB100 roomies)

11. A techno-fail friend stayed up whole night preparing birthday slide for me despite her grief and a friend who made a pic of me and her for my birthday

12. Birthday wishes on FB from recent and old friends and friends whom didnt keep in touch for a long time (and the fact they remembered my birthday though it wasn’t displayed)

=) heartfelt 22nd birthday

p/s: no regrets on my symbolic day – 22nd birthday on 22nd of April 2011

The post that I have written before was the story of my life in the University of Malaya.

With my seniors and fellow course mates

Soon..I will be wearing the robe too. Been having mixed feelings every now and then. Previously, my class had indirectly carried out the ELD (English Language Department) Extravaganza which had plays from three different years’ students. My year aka the senior year had performed a short musical about our lifes in university.

Had tremendous joy being in this performance with my course mates cum friends throughout the whole process of this musical. We had misunderstandings, down times including stress from final year project, fun times, crazy times, enjoyable times together. To me, I felt grateful to have an event like this. I gained a lot from this. Thanks for my course mates who had been tolerating with me if I had done anything that hurt your feelings. Thanks for giving me a chance to fantasize for dancing and singing before I graduate. I couldn’t hope for more.

A Walk Through Time

It is the first year in the University of Malaya,

Everything is new and exciting,

New friends, new environment, new experience, er..new boyfriend?

ooo~

First time in campus,

Everyone looks naive and nerdy,

As if there’s a halo on top of their head.

———————————————————————————————-

During the orientation week,

It was so much “fun”,

“Line up, line up”

“Run, run”

“Everyone do pumping twenty times!”

“Mom, I wanna go home, I can’t stand it anymore”

But somehow, we cherish this time the most,

With all the cheers, “Open banana, shake shake banana”

With all the singing, “Gemuruh jiwa, semangat membara,

dari puncak ingin ke angkasa, berkalungkan bintang berkelipan,

menyerlah jauh dari yang biasa”

And all the laughters and tears we had

———————————————————————————————–

At the beginning of semester,

everyone is full of beans,

“Oh my goodness, it’s 7 am and my class is at 8, I’m so late!”

“Okay students, don’t forget to hand in this assignment next month.”

“I’m done!”

“Huh”

====================================================

And then there comes the Second Year

Time flies so fast!

So has the determination,

“Oh my god my class is at 8 and it’s already 9..hmm..i’m not going.”

“This assignment is due tomorrow and I haven’t even started”

As time flies by,

our bond gets stronger and stronger,

Lunch, movies, class trips, vacation,

All we do together,

Everyone starts to know each other very well,

Even Uncle Wahid can recognize all of us.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

And then *clap* it’s the final year

We are soo not ready,

Life is just packed with

Assignments, presentations, tests and..*gasp* final year project *groan*

“Aiyoyo, so little time (Indian accent)”

“Alamak ( means oh my goodness in Malay)”

“Ya lo, so many thing to do (Malaysian Chinese English accent)”

“Aiya ng dak le (means I can’t take it any more in Cantonese)

*sigh*

October 2011

Our graduation day!

Everyone just can’t stop smiling, hee..

Walking proudly wearing mortarboards, holding big bouquets and teddy bears

All the hard work had paid off

Three years.seems.so quick

We are not ready to say goodbye

We are not ready to leave

Too many memories, love, pain and laughter

That we will cherish together. FOREVER

Note: Uncle Wahid was my faculty’s cafeteria’s boss. Nice and popular boss he is!

6. Received parcel from a faraway friend who still remembers to send me gift on the day before my BIG day albeit her country just got hit by disasters. That is sooo sweet~

=)

5. Random hangout with coursemates (who are not really close), even jogging-cum-walking together.

Well, hope that I could check my list before graduation. =)

Tonight is different night compared to nights during my drum practice. I missed out a lot of fun stuffs, not to blame solely on drums, but my fyp as well. Hiking, BBQ, Cameron trip, Fireman, etc.. Got myself into being punished (jokingly of course, well I hope it is ><) for sudden absence. Sorry dear QZH members!!

Anyway, just went Sahur to have a drink with them. Somehow, no matter how long I haven’t seen them, everytime I meet with the QZH bunch, they’ll make me feel happy and..not me. I feel a different kind of happy everytime I hang out with them. So..just want to say, “Thanks, guys! For those whom just seen the abnormal me even though we were acquaintance. Consider us as friends now kay~ hehe..”

Days to go – 58 (just past midnight =P)

4. Friend that gives you call at late hour just because they want to give you something i.e. souvenirs (strawberries from Cameron) Thanks Chee Kean and gang (not really sure who went)

Too bad I couldn’t join you guys, two more weeks and I’ll be free!!! Wait for me!! =)

Days to go – 60

3. When your dentist told you that you are about to de-brace

Days to go- 61

Simple things that made my day

1. Seeing mom insisting on sitting next to a conveyor belt like a child just to pick sushi that she wants.

2. Listening to mom singing along with a tv show.

=)

Another memory

Happy April Fool’s Day folks!~ but well..I am not going to write about that of course. Perhaps I have been taking things for granted. That’s why everytime when I tried to recall, memory data didn’t seem to appear. This leads to my blogging now. To mark down events that I have attended, yesterday was my residential college’s CC Night (theme: high school student) It was a great night indeed! Seeing performances prepared by the CC Night’s committees, games played, “shows” by CC Queen and King nominees, and of course, photo-taking session (many thanks for those who took pictures for me and with me).

However, it was a bit surprising the moment I stepped into the hall. The hall was full with students, of course we are still students but what I like literal school kids (Japanese style mostly) Some even wear their name tags. So cute! Had a great time spent with juniors together with the food and programme prepared. Next, outing to curry wantan mee with drum teams and Adi. It was sleepily enjoyable. In fact, I was the first to gather! (cheers to that!! ^^) and well, here it ends, time spent on blogs, facebook while I should really spend my time and effort on my final year project aka thesis. AISH!! Good day to ya~

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my DEAREST friend -LayKee~ May all the best in life come to you, happiness and health befriend you, sadness hates you. Lastly, I cherish you~
