paiseh for the lack of updates...

have been quite a boring few days lately, except for the 2 nights out with a close friend who came back from Singapore to attend another friend's wedding as well as to sort some stuff out for his own wedding coming September...


the to be husband & wife... congrats dude...

he's the first amongst us life-long buddies getting tied down, so we're gonna hold one hell of a bachelor night party for him before his big day, and talks/arrangements are already underway...


got my car washed... after like 1 month+ because it has been raining all the time in town... :(


also helped out at one of the annual celebrations of the association...

circular rainbow around the Sun

snapped this kindda rare phenomenon 5 minutes ago at the office. got this rainbow around the Sun thingy... quite pretty though... Almost everyone in the office was sticking their oily faces onto the window with this sakai look (including me) taking photos of the circular rainbow...

yea, the thing in the middle is the Sun...

Sunday relaxation...

went for a swim on the Sunday evening... however this time it was not at the usual StamPark swimming pool but at Somerset Gateway.

apart from swimming, went for a few rounds of sauna... and man it was freakin' hot. it has been at least 4 years since I last step into one, and it actually felt good... will definitely go again... and seriously considering the membership... hehehe...

yea, that's the building where I work in, so it's just a stone throw away if I were to consider coming here for a swim or workout after work...


it started to rain at around 430pm, but we're already done...

got myself an air ionizer from Super8 on the weekend Saturday ...

pretty good stuff I should say... coz it really eliminates smoke odor in the car... hehehe...

nowadays in Kuching, when you think about going for ice-creams, you'll no longer only think of Sunny Hill Ice-Creams. This new place - Scoops will also pop up in mind... plus, it's also more strategically located - right smack opposite Hilton Kuching...

so this boring Sunday night, it was decided that ice-cream was gonna be the theme rather than the usual beer... and off we went over to Scoops...

after trying out (testing) almost half the favours available, she decided on having *I forgot oredi*, while I went for the Tiramisu favour...


you'll get spoilt by choice...


my Tiramisu ice-cream... got liquor taste sommore... hehehe...


very soothing place I should say... good place to hangout and watch the Kuching night life goes by...


can choose to sit inside (got air-con) or outside if you wanna puff, and feel the breeze rather...

early Father's Day dinner

we didn't wanna join in all the crowd for the actual Father's Day dinner this coming weekend, so went out celebrated the event a week earlier...


went to this seafood restaurant@RH Plaza


crispy duck... probably the best dish we had...


FuRong Tofu... normal stuff...


BBQ pork knuckles... gotta dip the meat with the sauce first before eating, else it's too dry...


salted chicken... pretty decent dish, albeit not salty enough...

the bill came up to be slightly over RM100, quite reasonable considering the portion, because we had to tapao about 30% of the food as we were too full already... too much meat... :p

makan @ Pandan Delight...

I have not been to this Thai restaurant for almost 2 years, and after some 2 hours shopping at Parkson, decided to go over for some spicy stuff...


pretty cosy place... sommore no one was there that time, so it was extra nice...

we ordered:


Thai style oyster omelet... taste like those typical local ones, but spicier...


seafood tom yam... very spicy... got me sweating all over...


raw shrimps... never tried this before, and it actually turned out very nice...

the bill come out to be abit over RM30 only... a reasonable price for Thai food...
