this weekend had been quite relaxing... and nope, didn't go to the Kuching Festival as it's probably invested by _____ people like there's no tomorrow...


went for Bak Kut Teh during lunch time...


had a drink at this new shop next to Kaya & Toast on the Sunday evening before heading to...


Somerset Gateway again...

dinner @ Rakuzen, Crown Square

was up for Japanese food last Friday, so went to this new restaurant at Crown Square to satisfy our jap food cravings...

the bill came up to be over RM170... yea I know we could have gone to those Japanese Buffet and paid somewhat less for two person with unlimited food supply, but I'd say that the food there is very fresh, and seriously worth it.

steamboat on Saturday night...

it was a last minute decision to go for a steamboat dinner on Saturday night... plus it was raining... a perfect time for a steamboat dinner... heh...

my weekend...

it was quite a busy weekend due to an event we organized in Kuching, plus entertaining a KL guest as it's her first time here in Kuching, and hopefully she'll be here more often to help us out...

so apart from business, brought her around Kuching, and of course tried out some authentic Kuching food, like the Kolo Mee and Laksa...


Sarawak Laksa... totally different than those of west Malaysia...

then on Saturday night, went over to Bella Italia after a heck of a busy day. I ordered a Cabonara... and it's so good I almost lick the plate clean...


Ah-Sun ordered this... I'm not sure what's the name, but according to her, it's yummy-licious...


then we went all the way to Kuching North for drinks, and enjoyed the Kuching City night view from across river...

was shopping around at Parkson during the weekend when we stopped by the SKII counter... coz we came across this -


and I thought only electronic goods merchants offer such payment schemes...

I was kinnda surprise that even cosmetics/skincare products nowadays offers installment plans as well. don't ask how much was spent at SKII... it was abit of an impulsive purchase... and nope, it wasn't me...

Starbucks Kuching

yeaps, finally apart from Coffee Bean, Kuching has its own Starbucks now...

went over to give it a try yesterday night, as there's a RM30-spending-free-Starbucks-mug promotion.

ordered an ice green tea... and frankly speaking, tasted pretty good...

a good alternative from the usual caffeine...

Sunday gateway...

after a few fucked-up days on and off work, dipping myself in the Somerset Gateway rooftop pool and sweating it out in the sauna room was good...

we were there from around 3pm until sunset... and just lazing around there, do nothing was a pretty good way to waste a boring Sunday afternoon...
