The last weekend of July, my parents came to visit us in Camas, and then took us along for an amazing adventure on the Oregon Coast. Before hitting the road, we spent time picking blueberries and playing in the cool water of the Columbia River. Then the kids and I drove to Astoria with my parents, and had a fantastic couple of days exploring the area, before meeting up with Drew and my siblings at Tillamook. We stayed on the beachfront in Neskowin for a night before moving on to Pacific City. It was all so gorgeous! The ocean is always a thing of beauty, but the Oregon Coast is an absolute masterpiece.
Back at home, we enjoyed the last few weeks of summer, playing games, baking, building forts, visiting Skyzone and Round One, etc. Henry started soccer season, and the kids had back to school night and returned to the classroom for their 2nd and 5th grade years. I can't believe Lily is in her final year of elementary school, where did the time go?!
