Happy Easter!

First off, Happy Easter! On Saturday, the neighborhood HOA hosted an egg hunt for kids. Ryan took Dillan and got a few pics. Dillan didn't really seem to understantd the concept, but has enjoyed the candy!

Sunday was Spencer's first day to pass the sacrament. I am ever so grateful for his spirit and the happiness he brings to our family. I couldn't hold the tears back as I watched him manuever up and down the isle administering the sacrament. Today Spencer innocently touched so many lives of the people in our ward. Everyone said how awesome it was to see Spencer be able to pass and many ladies said the couldn't hold in their emotions either.

Spence's BDay, pt 2

For Spencer's birthday, his first choice was to go to Legoland (in San Diego) and since that was shot down, his second choice was Pirate Island in Orem. He heard about this place from a friend. So we took a trip to Orem for his birthday and had lunch and played video games.

General Conference, Priesthood Session

Every fall and spring, Ryan, his dad, brother and brother-in-law, get together and do dinner and the priesthood session. Sometimes they go to SLC at the conference and the other times it's at our old building where the pews were about 4 feet apart (no joke). Since Spencer will be 12 in a week, he went with the guys to SLC for the meeting. I cannot believe this kids is 12. Man, has time flown! Here's my boys.

Snow Fun

So when I say I think our family is boring and we don't do anything exciting, it's because we do the same things every week. Granted it's going skiing, which is super fun, but it's the same every week. We have such a blast every week. It's so great to get outside and enjoy the outdoors.

This year I have been going with my friends every week to Beaver Mountain, which is a small, local resort. I absolutly have become addicted to snowboarding. I go with some great friends and their skills push me to enhance my abilities.

On the weekends we take Spencer and go to Snowbasin. Fabulous resort. We have the best guide ever; he is a phenomenal skier and he allows Spencer to take the lead and try it all. We are ever so grateful to him for committing to us week after week.

Here's hoping I can keep my goal of being better to update the blog weekly. I feel we are pretty boring and not much changes from week to week.

Christmas:
So fun having a little one around for the holiday. Dillan was quite overwhelmed but once she realized there was toys in the paper, she loved it.

Halloween

We weren't really going to do anything for Halloween this year. Spencer is old enough to not have to dress up and since Dillan really doesn't know what Halloween is... But today Spencer and I were at Sam's club and saw their super cute toddler animal costumes. I just couldn't resist!! All Dillan watches is the Brainy Baby videos, so she knew exactly what the costume was when I showed her. We went to the trunk or treat and then came home to a nice night at home. Spencer was out and about around the neighborhood and Dillan was answering the door and passing out the candy on her own by the end of the night.
