Cooper 3 months

Cooper turned 3 months old this past Friday. He is getting so big. He even slept through the night last night!!! Granted it was after he woke up for a brief 3 minutes at 1 a.m. crying, but I put him on his tummy and he fell back to sleep and slept until 6. So I am deeming that as sleeping through the night. Go COOPER! And I know it goes against all the baby laws and baby code that has been written by some wack doctor, but Cooper sleeps like a beast on his tummy...so that is how we will sleep from now on. Deal with it!

or Elephants and Giraffs...This past weekend we took the boys to the zoo...ya know, since the weather has cooled down to a breezy 97 degrees. We went early enough so we could beat the heat...let's just say it sounded better in our heads cause it got hot. Needless to say the boys (all 3) had a blast!

Growing Up...

We are doing great these days. Cooper is getting on a schedule and is sleeping pretty good at night. We are usually up once and we have not slept through the night yet. Each night I lay down and think, "this is gonna be the night" only to wake up around 3 a.m. Soon...I feel it.

This past week was rough. Our AC went out, both boys got sick, Andy's parents came to visit, and we went to Tyler for the weekend for my cousin's wedding. We were wiped out on Sunday. The entire family took loooong naps.

2 Months

I can't believe that Cooper is 2 months old already.

Stats:

Weight: 13 lbs 6.5 oz. (90%)
Height: 23 3/4" (80%)
Head: 38.7 (25%)

and just for fun...Parker at this age was:
Weight: 10 lb 14 oz (45%)
Height: 22 1/4" (45%)
Head: 40 (50%)

He is smiling and cooing and blowing bubbles. He has a small dimple on the right side. he is showing signs of a 2 nap per day pattern. One at 9:30 and then one at 12 or 12:30 with little cat naps in between these. He goes down usually around 9 and then will wake 1 to 2 times a night. From the time he gets up, eats, and goes back down, it is only 30 minutes. He is still sleeping in the pack n' play next to my bed, but not because I want it this way. We decided to be cheap and not buy another crib so I need to transition Parker to the BBB before Cooper gets his room. However, I am real close to just moving the P n' P into the BB room and letting C sleep it out in there until the transition takes place.
