A sneak peek at what 2026 will bring: Looking gorgeous even before it launches, PJ’s upcoming Granule is set to bring slow-fermented bread and patiently proofed pastries to Section 19’s 3 Two Square.

Can’t wait to try Granule’s goodies? Its English breakfast muffins will be served Sunday, 28 December, at its sister space Monet In The City’s morning muffin run party.

Granule is likely to officially open in January, though rumours are rumbling of a trial run sooner rather than later. Save a cosy corner for us.

PJ’s new Rothmans Place nods to its location on the former Rothmans roundabout, pairing a clear sense of place with bright breakfasts of the silkiest scramble with house-baked muffins. Lunchtime brings everything from nasi kerabu to pizzas, pastas and sandwiches.

Bonus points for the live plants, with philodendrons and pothos flourishing on the wallscape.

Bangsar’s new Warung Putih wears a Malaysian name and speaks fluent Italian under Bologna-born chef Manuel Sanzo, its menu spanning tagliatelle alla puttanesca to tagliolini e piselli, ragu-stuffed squid to truffle-scented chicken scaloppine.
