Happy CNY 2008

Happy CNY to you all. Late update this year cause I didn't have the mood to update. Anyway, this year's CNY celebration wasn't that great and in fact it is getting worse every year. I don't really feel the CNY mood nowadays unlike last time.


This is my liquor collection, empty liquor bottles collection actually. Most of them are empty except for the Galliano White, Suntory Whiskey, Ballantines Whiskey and Remy Martin Fine Champagne Cognac. The chicken bottle is actually an old special edition of Hennesy X.O.'s bottle and the one inside the Royal Salute cloth sack is an old Chivas Regal Royal Salute, probably older than me but its empty. The 'balls'-like bottles inside the net are Gautier X.O Cognac (my dad claims that the bottle won't break even if you slam it on the floor because the net will damp the impact but I don't wanna try cause the bottles are older than me also lol). The flower vases are Otard X.O. Cognac bottles. The small bottles inside the cabinet there are sample bottles which I think are older than me because I've seen those being there for as long as I can remember. We used to display alot of liquors back then (not empty bottles) but some assholes just came and open and then drink without our permission (even those that we kept for a very long time) so my uncle was pissed and he kept away all the liquors so I can't show you guys the Martell we kept for 30 years.

The warzone ended very soon this year, approximately around 12:30 a.m. Economic recession affected everyone I guess.


Shenton asked us to go his house on the second day to gamble, I went but I did not gamble. He asked me to try out this, Martell Noblige Cognac but didn't get to try the Cordon Bleu because it wasn't opened yet. He told me the Noblige cost RM900+ without tax O_O. Sorry for the flash on the Cordon Bleu's box, I'm a noob photographer so don't blame me. Leslie and our Mr. Universe won alot I think.


This is irrelevant to CNY celebration but I just put it here because I'm too lazy to make another post. I went fishing the other day and finally caught a fish. The hook got stuck in the fish's throat and when I tried the pull the hook out, the fish made the "arghkk arghkkk" sound so I didn't take the hook out because I felt sorry for the fish lol.

Techno Viking

This guy is called Techno Viking. Happy Hardcore is so nice it made the Techno Viking dance! hahahah. Legend has it that the Techno Viking is the original Beowulf from the ancient time lol. By the way, the song is Heut Ist Mein Tag by Blumchen if you wanna download it or something.

Pwned

Went to Shenton's apartment the other day, had a couple of drinks and stayed over cause we all got pwned. We managed to finish one bottle of Bacardi 151, half of the Midori and couple of beers.


Getting ready for the drinks. Oh yea, Pin made dinner for us before we went there. Finally managed to convince him to cook. Biaw trying to be god of gambler I think haha some say he looks like Leon Lai? then Gerard would be Andy Lau hahaha. I don't know why Gerard make weird expression again though. Seems like everytime I take his pic he makes weird expressions lol.


Yammmmmmmm senggggg!! The greenish thing in the glass is the Midori mixed with 7-Up but didn't taste so good. It still tasted kinda like cough syrup.


It was written on the Bacardi's bottle that it contained 75.5% alcohol but somehow wikipedia says 87.5%. But either way, I don't think I wanna drink this anymore, too scary.



Pin drank like a l33t but in the end got pwned like a no0b also lol. Bacardi pwns all!!


Gerard pwned! Haha he was the first to puke thanks to Jonat for making him dance. I puked also after Jonat slap my head. (Weird expression again LOL)


Jonat looks ok but in fact he's already drunk haha. He talked non-stop and kept babbling trash. Drink once with him then you will know what I'm talking about lol.

Drift King: Tsuchiya Keiichi

If you're a fan of Initial D, I believe you should've heard Initial D was based on someone in real life. Well, that person is actually Tsuchiya Keiichi a.k.a Drift King in Japan. He was actually an illegal racer who turned pro just like Takumi Fujiwara in Initial D (Takumi is not pro yet). If you have already watched Too Fast Too Furious: Tokyo Drift, Tsuchiya Keiichi is actually the fisherman who said that the red Evo's drift sucked (the part where the main character learns how to drift)


Remember the gumtape death match in the First Stage of Initial D? I think it was based on this clip.


This is the TRD AE86 which is almost the same as the one Takumi drives in Initial D except that this one is on a Levin chassis instead of Trueno.

If you liked Initial D, you can try out Shuto Kousoku Trial which is a movie based on him too and an alternate anime similar to Initial D called Wangan Midnight. Well, most car stuff movie/anime are based on him anyway since they worship him like god haha.
