Fan Fiction

This is one of the nicest things I think I've written(which isn't to say its all happy and roses - My standard disclaimer should always be assumed to apply - but it did upset some people by being less of my normal style).
I believe it was for a maskingwriter/maskfiction competition about 10+ years ago, and i settled on this because i could not ever manage to figure out my Law & Order fanfic (Yes, seriously. No, you'll never see it).
I do not own any of the characters from Jonothan Creek, I was merely trying to do justice to the style of its early seasons.
Apologies for the formatting, this is the way I found it.

Doubt

It was pointed out to me recently that its been a year since I've added a post here (which is partly a reflection on the lack of things I have that aren't already archived, and partly a sign that I've been a bit too busy to deal with things)

So, to add something, here's a previously unseen story...
...or, at least, a very rough first draft of a short story I whipped up a couple of years ago and couldn't work out any published version I was happy with.

With a couple of glaring corrections, and a spellcheck I've left it pretty much exactly as it was originally written.
