Today we had Claire & Elliot and Tracy & Sophia over for lunch and play time. Claire and Elliot are from England, have lived in Canada for a few years, and just relocated to the area. Claire's little darling Elliot is just two weeks older than Allyson. I was so excited for Ally to have a little friend her age to play with.

Welcome Allyson Elizabeth

It's been some time since I've posted! I have been so very busy with my sweetest Princess Allyson. Allyson was born on September 25, 2009 at 7:23 am. She weighted 6.6lbs and was 18" long. PERFECT!

I was awaken with my first contraction at 5:11am. I was in the Hospital and fully dilated and pushing by 6:15, my precious was born at 7:23am.

Dear Eric. Oh Dear Eric. Well it was fast, as you know from the time frame above, which we expected given my previous delivery with Alex. I just remember him running around the bedroom :)! When we got to the Emergency Room he didn't pull up at the door, but parked the car. I was to busy to notice until he got me out, locked the car doors and took off running to get a wheel chair and didn't return for about 5 minutes. Okay, so I'm laughing hysterically right now, but at the moment....not so funny!

I really shouldn't be jesting at Eric's expense. Right before my water broke, and while Eric was doing circles in the bedroom, I was cleaning up the kitchen in between contractions because my Neighbor was coming over to be with Alex until my Mom could get here! Serious OCD issues!

Well after all of our scares of premature labor, starting at 24 weeks, our sweetest Allyson arrived as perfect as could possibly be! Can you imagine a better reason for me to have neglected my blog for months?

Honestly, as much as I have loved this blog, I'm not sure if it will work in to my future. With iphones, texting and having the ability to send photos instantly......it makes this seem like to much work for a new Mama :)! We'll have to see!

Hello :)!

So sorry I haven't been on here! So much going on. Pregnancy is hard and I'm becoming so very uncomfortable. We'll be 32 weeks on Sunday and so thankful, but really exhausted. My friend Jodi and Sister Sheila had a baby shower for me this past Saturday and I am working on uploading those photos, along with some of my maternity photos. I hope to have them up this weekend! Baby's Furniture and bedding :)!

Aunt Sheila and Uncle Andy came today to help us get your baby furniture. We had a great time decorating and planning for you little girl. Aunt Sheila got teary eyed all day thinking about how you'll soon be here with us! She couldn't pick up a little pink outfit without getting emotional. She's really a very special Auntie! You're going to love her! Uncle Andy too....he's more fun than anyone I know!!!


Picking out your furniture was so speical for your Dad and I. We really wanted it to be perfect and took such great time in getting just the right pieces, we envision you having it for a long time.
