Bridger David Eggett Finally arrived on 8/19/2011

He was a whopping 8lbs 14oz and 21in Long. A whole pound bigger than my biggest girl.

We love him so much. His sisters love the cuddle him and give him kisses. ImageThe Doctor said that when she was delivering him he had his hand beside his head and then reached out and grabbed onto her finger. He loves to hold our fingers.
ImageLook at this big boy. He is so much fun to hold and cuddle. I love my arm ful of baby boy!

It's a .........

BOY!!!!
So we were scheduled to have our ultrasound on March 31st but on Tuesday of this week we recieved a call asing if we could reschedule because one of the Ultrasound techs wouldn't be coming in on the 31st and they would be short handed. They told us we could come in that very same day or wait a couple more weeks. Well I jumped at the chance to go in early. when the tech told us it was a boy I was so excited I couldn't help but cry. The girls were so excited they started squeelng and giggling. I looked over at Dave and he was so calm and just sat there. He wants a little boy so much. He said he had prepared himself to hear it was a girl but he hadn't prepared how to act if it was a boy.
ImageAbove is his face.
ImageAnd this is his boy shot!!
We are so excited to have a little boy in our home. We can't wait for the day to finally meet him.

Pheasant Hunt!!

So if you can't tell I am still playing catch up. In November Dave took the girls out to the youth pheasant hunt. They met up with his friend Grant. Grant brought his 3 dogs which my girls just love. I knew when I married Dave that our kids would always be welcome to tag along with him on his hunting excursions. I guess I just didn't picture my little girls out so young with all the big people and their guns.ImageDave packing some food.
ImageLook at the pinkness amongst all the orange and brown. I guess we should get them some Hunter Orange.

Image This is Grant and his dogs. The girls want a dog so bad, they don't mind borrowing other peoples dogs for the time being.

ImageNeedless to say they didn't keep up very well and they started to get cold. They had so much fun even though it doesn't look like it here

Reflections

I know this is a bit late but I want to do better at updating these fun things. Breanne participated in the Reflections program this year at her School. The theme was "Together we can......." Breanne chose to paint a picture with water colors of a flower. As we talked about the theme and what a theme was she said she wanted hers to say "together we can grow".ImageLook at her cute picture. I was very proud of her. She loves to paint and draw.
At first I wanted her to select photography so that her and Dave could do this project together but she wanted so bad to paint. Sometimes I need little reminders that she is her own little person and she has her own thoughts and Ideas. She did such a great job on her picture.
All she kept Talking about when she turned in her picture was that she wanted a trophy. I tried to explain that not all kids would get a Trophy and that she needed to know that what ever happened she did an excellent job. There were 4 categories in each genre. The first one was the one that went onto state state and they got a trophy. The next one was called the Award of Merit. They got a trophy also but got to take their projects home. The third one I don't remember the tile but they got a prize like paint or a note book and candy and the last category was an honorable mention and they received some candy.ImageI knew that any of these categories would have been fine. Breanne really wanted a Trophy though. I sat there praying that she would get a Trophy because she believed she would. The names were called for the first place and she did not get called. Then they announced the Award of Merit and her name got called she was so excited to go get her Trophy. Of course I shed a few tears. I do that a lot when my kids are involved.

ImageOf course we had to go celebrate!!!
Way to go Bean!! We love you! She was so excited to see her name on her little trophy.
