after rounds of job hunting and interviews, i've landed a job and will be starting in march. oh no! that marks the end of my student life... no more holidays, no more flexi-hours where you can do anything you want... boo hoo.

well, it's not exactly an ideal job with wonderful normal working hours, but i sure bet i'll get very busy and lot's of new stuff to learn. friends' reaction usually are * gasp* are you sure you know what you're getting into.. ???? oh well i'll give it a try and see how well i adapt and if i could stay. have been praying for God to direct my path... if this is what he wants me to do... have been praying for good seniors, colleagues and managers... to at least not make life difficult for freshies like me. To me, it's the culture and the people you work with which can make a HUGE difference... nevermind how tough it is, i just hope i'll be able to handle it and come out stronger.

am now counting down and savouring every precious moment of my holidays. also can't wait to get more NICE working clothes. I'll make it a point not to neglect image in the midst of busyness. nothing wrong with making yourself look GOOD right? A person who is more happy/uplifted can perform with confidence! that's what i believe.

in the area of work-life balance, i pray that i will find it and MAKE time for family and friends. Do nudge me and ask me out k! i'm not about to give up my entire social life just for work... though i still need discipline to self study for exam. that's just too bad... but i'll soon be done and away with it.

lastly.. smile! coz you never know who's admiring it... or how much warmth you bring to the people around. =)
