hiking and a paint war

Chase sent over a few more pictures from the past few weeks.

Hiking a mountain in Georgia. Elder Haycock is in the white shirt and Elder Buhler is the tall one in the grey shirt. Elder Forebush is the one in the other black shirt.

One night they had a family night with the ysa ward they cover. Chase gave a lesson on faith and praying. He said it was amazing and made some girls cry (which of course meant they were falling in love with him...)
then they had a massive paint war!

busy, busy, busy

Here's an update from Chase:

Well another week has come and gone. Wow, has it been full of craziness. Elder Ballard came and talked to all the missionaries and I got to sit in a council of 14 people and him. Man, that was so cool. I loved the things that he talked about. What an amazing man. The other crazy part was he talked to me for a little bit and he treated me like I was a man. I felt like I was 15 but he talked to me and asked me questions as if I was 35 years old. So that was really neat. Well now that I am an AP I have 100x more paperwork and I have 100x less opportunities to go out and do missionary work. We make all the hand outs and do all the logistics behind the mission. All in all we help prez run the mission and, let me tell you, it will put grey hairs on you head. I get like 36 phone calls a day from missionaries needing help or prez needing us to go somewhere. It is so amazing to get to help so many people; you really learn to love everyone for who they are. We have this thing we are going to do where we are going to serve every missionary in the mission by shining his shoes... SO COOL. So now we are going to start the ''Tour de mission.'' I should have a ton of pictures this transfer. :) Hope all is well.
Love, Chase

New Job

I heard from Chase this week and found out that he's been called to a new position. He's now the new Assistant to the President!

Congratulations, Chase!

a look into Chase's world

Chase sent along some pictures from his area. He didn't give any explanations, so I'm just guessing, but it seems that most of them are things he's seen around town that he finds amusing.
See for yourself...

He also sent a few that actually reflected pieces of his days...

Way too hot for my taste.

I think this is the third pair of running shoes he's gone through in the 15 months he's been on his Mission. At this rate we're either going to have to buy out a shoe store or start taking donations : )
It's good to see that he's working hard to stay in shape, though.
Keep up the great work, Chase!
