For years we haven’t believed in publishing pricing because there can be a wide variance due to size and complexity of the project. For a simple one-page landing website this can be as affordable as $300+gst or for an advanced eCommerce and customised development it could be $3000+gst. Also prices can be tailored to clients budget, for instance if one client has a low budget and may only want a very minimalistic website with very little detailed design, or may provide their own copy, compared to another client who may have the same amount of pages but have a far more detailed design and layout or much longer pages of content. These can be drastically different project times.
However, due to our affordability when researching other local web design companies, I believe it’s perhaps in our better interest to show how we compare.
Almost all of the websites in our portfolio are somewhere between $1500-$2500+gst, with just a smaller portion above that which would have had more advanced features out of the scope of most websites.
So here’s an idea of pricing below, which is not absolute but once we’ve discussed your requirements we can tailor a price to your budget.
Standard Website
$ 2000 +gst

Premium Website
$ 2500 +gst and above

Hosting is priced separately but typically $200+gst per year. Domain names are registered with a third-party and put in your own name.
Simple / Smaller websites
For far less than 10 pages or a more simple build and design, prices can very from $1000-$1500+gst

Landing pages can also vary, from the very simple $300 up to about $1000+gst.
Logo design and branding
Logo deisgn is similar, usually between $250-$500+gst. This is all depends on client and their budget, if they want to see dozens of logo concepts and developments, this will be at the higher price. But a client that already knows exactly what they want for a logo and just need someone to create it at high quality, may only been an hours work.
One-off Fixed Price vs Monthly
We also only do fixed one-off prices rather than the no-fixed-cost but higher monthly cost, which is gaining popularity. Why? Because we don’t want to rip you off. More companies are profiting higher from this model, hence more offering it. Most websites we build will last for years. We’ve even got dozens going back 15 years. That might have been a $2000 investment back then. But on month-to-month which for most companies is about $150/month, that same client would now be up to $27,000. In fact your annual cost would be almost as much as our one-off cost. Plus many of these month-to-month companies are still charging an upfront cost as well. So don’t fall for these types of fee-structures because they will cost you a lot more over the long-term.
