Underground Lovers - Starsigns

Second single from Australian indie rock band Underground Lovers here on Madchester Rave On, taken from their album "Ways T'Burn" released in 1997. This guys knows recipe how to made a great song and if this single was released 6 or 7 years earlier i'm sure it will be very popular among baggy people and in some way reminds me a lot to My Bloody Valentine "Soon". And don't forget to check two great remixes of "Starsigns" made by Sonic Animation, dance band from Australia.

Another superb mix from BOAS group, this time from Mark Ashdown - creator of Boys Own Appreciation Society, great man who came to an original idea to form this group on facebook back in 2007, place dedicated to the people who were into the Boys Own movement and place where you can discuss about early 90's house & techno music, balearic, madchester, indie and other genres of music.

MADCHESTER RAVE ON is back !!!

Some of you know that after two and a half years of posting my blog Madchester Rave On was closed and removed. Through this blog i was trying to collect all this old forgotten early 90's indie bands at one place where you can bring back your memories about their music. It was great while it lasted, i have great times running that blog and i found a lot of new friends. Thanks for visiting my blog, for all your emails, comments, thanks to many of you who were sending me music from your collections and making my blog much better, thanks to all early 90's band members who contacted me and gave me support for my blog !!!

But closing my blog is not the end of my posting. I'm back with new blog "Higher Than The Sun" - inspired from one of my favourite Primal Scream songs. I'm continuing with same genres of music - madchester, shoegaze, indie, electronic (techno & ambient), lot of rare singles, promos etc. And every week i'll try to re-post material from my older blog.
