Capturing light, mood, and the authentic moments that make a place come alive.

Hello, I’m Eli

Image

I’m a travel street photographer based in Oslo, drawn to the quiet magic of early morning light. Furthermore, I’m captivated by the golden glow of evening — those fleeting hours when a city reveals its soul.

My camera follows me through city streets and into nature. For example, I photograph the urban landscape of Oslo and quiet forest paths. Additionally, I capture medieval villages in Languedoc and the changing seasons in the Norwegian countryside. Moreover, I’m drawn to candid moments and architectural details. In particular, I love how light transforms both cityscapes and natural landscapes.

I shoot with my Olympus Pen F, Canon, or simply my iPhone. However, the best photographs come from being present and patient. In fact, it’s about truly seeing what’s before you. Therefore, this mindful approach to photography is at the heart of everything I teach. It means slowing down, observing, and consequently connecting with your surroundings.

What I Do

Travel & Street Photography
From the cobblestone streets of Rome to the Nordic light of my hometown Oslo, I document the essence of places through architecture, urban landscapes, and candid moments of daily life.

Nature & Landscape Photography
Beyond the city streets, I find equal inspiration in the natural world — the quiet beauty of Norwegian forests, changing seasons, and the subtle details that reveal themselves when we slow down and truly observe.

Mindful Photography Teaching
I’ve taught mindful photography with a nature perspective, guiding others to connect more deeply with their surroundings through the camera lens. Photography becomes not just about capturing images, but about presence, awareness, and seeing with fresh eyes.

Photography Workshops & Retreats
Combining my passion for teaching with my love of travel and nature, I create experiences where learning photography becomes a journey of discovery. In May 2026, I’ll be co-facilitating my first international photography retreat in Languedoc, France.

Authentic Storytelling
Every photograph tells a story. My goal is to capture not just what a place looks like, but how it feels — the mood, the atmosphere, the moment that makes you stop and really see.
