At the Table / La masa
If you give a pig a chocolate...

These kids can't eat if there's not some playing involved... Fun even at the table. And they do eat better this way, like eating square sandwiches, triangle cheese, ...all shapes and fun things to make the food taste better. They have such an imagination ...

Le-a citit carti, Biblia, si le-a cantat si cantece. Ultima poza e facuta de Emily. Subiectul ei principal a fost Jonathan, pe care l-a urmarit peste tot prin curte si i-a facut o multime de poze.
With Toriana
Here they are cooking for real, making their own pizza.
Aici gatesc de adevaratelea, isi face fiecare cate o pizza.
A little rest after playing with the ball and catching bubbles. Thank you guys for having us over, it was really fun, not only for the kids :-)

...A Mother's Joys...
We got Carrot Juice today for the first time from Trader Joe's, and the kids loved it. Jonathan drank a whole cup (8 oz), and Emily drank too, but less. And all this after they ate LOTS of fruits (bluberrys and strawberrys). Maybe compared to Toriana or Marissa it is normal, but for Emily and Jonathan, that was A LOT. I can't tell you how happy I was...

Our time at convention was awsome, we always fail when trying to describe it in words. We are v.thankful for all those who made it possible.
Timpul nostru la conferinta a fost minunat, niciodata nu reusim sa descriem in cuvinte. Suntem recunoscatori fata de toti cei care ne-au facut acest timp posibil.

Daily Life
Yesterday I was just surprised of how nicely the kids were playing with each other (for quite a long time), when I heard Emily: "Mama, see how nice we are playing together?" (even for her it was unusual, ha ha). But I can't complain, I think I am a lucky mother from this point of view, they ARE getting together well in general.
Today after lunch they spilled watter on the table (on purpose) and were splashing and playing when I came to them. Before I even got to say anything, she announced 3 times: "I am sorry about this, mama" (x3), then jumped to hug me and said "I love you", then: "Did I make you happier?"
Or one time I overheard her telling Jonathan that "mama would be mad if she saw this".

Tudor
I just came across some of my old notes and I was amazed again to read how my nephew from Romania, Todor, was at Jonathan's age, at almost 2 1/5 years old. He was a very early speaker!!! And at Jonathan's age he knew more than 10 poems and a few songs. At the age of 2 years old he knew 4 poems. In Romania it is a (good!) habit that little kids learn poems from their parents or at preschool. It is a good thing, as it exercises the child's memory at an early age, and it is amazing to see what a good memory a child has at that age.
Here it's Tudor at 3 1/2 years old (actually I think the picture is not recent, so maybe he was 3 here). And Tudor and his parents. I miss you all so much!
