My Birthday

Image
Sis Melisa had a very nice birthday party for 4 March people. Such a wonderful surprise, thank you Melisa, and Happy 40th birthday! I am just a year behind sis, so next year I'll have a surprise for you :-)
P.S. Hope you don't mind I took this picture from your blog!

...The most precious card I've got :-). Thank you sweetheart, I would too.

Melisa's present has a story behind, this is why I love it so much. How could she find the perfect present? Emily told me one day that if she is a princess, then I am a queen. So here is the Queen Mother cup :-)

Emily wanted a picnick in the livingroom on a rainy day. It was a perfect idea, as the lunch tasted better too. She also wanted to take lots of pictures, and ALL of them were just about perfect. It was su funny to hear her: Now I want to take a picture of you and Jonathan. Now just of Jonathan. Now one of you, mom. No, don't make this face, smile please. Let me take a picture of my plate etc etc. And at the end, ... Mom, I can't wait to see these pictures on the blog. Ha ha, she came here just now as I am writing this and she is insisting that she wants to write that SHE took this picture.

Cars can be on the road, on the tracks, in the bag (carried with him everywhere) and in many other places. It's harder when he needs to come to the table or go potty, and he wants the cars with him too.

Emily's homework. To my surprise, she called me one day to show me how she did her "homework". We haven't started with writing yet, but I guess she is hinting me that we need to. She just knows to write her name or she writes when we tell her how, with capital letters.

Conversation this morning

Emily:  I want the first pancake!
Me:  If you love your brother, you should let him have the first pancake.
Emily:  Jonathan, do you love me?
Jonathan: Yes
Emily:  See, he loves me and wants me to have the first pancake.
Jonathan:  Yes, you can have the first pancake, Emily.
(this just made me laugh and cry at the same time)

We had a nice time with Brent and Dayla's family and with Debby and Chirstin.
And also with Roya and Connor. There are more pictures HERE

Getting ready to eat their shamrock cookies they made. But wait, we have to have a picture taken first :-)

Dr Seuss' Birthday

Today our children celebrated Dr Seuss' Birthday with their friends Toriana, Joe and Danny. Jill had some very cute ideas, I have to post a few pictures now. The children were dressed in books' characters, we'll let you guess who they are.

A lunch for the litlte bookworms. Soo cute! Thank you Jill for such a fun time and such neat ideas.

These really were green eggs and ham :-). Super delicious and healthy. I am sure it is going to become a favorite breakfast at our house. (Joe after tasting the "spinachy eggs": "They look disgusting, but they are really good". Even Jonathan liked them too. Emily doesn't know what she missed, since she didn't even want to taste them)

P.S. Now I am going to have nice memories about this book -"If You Give a Moose a Muffin" (thank you, Jill!), and I am glad about this, as it one of my least favorite books ( and I was generous when I said this, ha ha)
Where did Emily's cute dress come from?
Yes, it was her mom's dress :-)
