Today - the most precious thing Emily ever said. She was pretending she was writing a letter, and she was reading out loud: "Dear Jonathan. I love you the most!!! But not more than God!" She was reading it to him, who was next to her. (earlier today they exchanged a few hugs and "I love you" / "I love you too" statements). And these pictures were taken today, as we went for a walk. Emily requested many pictures , so I was very happy to fulfill her desire (as if it wasn't mine too, he he!)

33 years old
Happy Birthday today to my precious sister, who turned the beautiful 33. I love you and thank you for being an awsome sister to me.
We sang "Happy Birthday" to her together with Otilia and cousin Tudor.I-am cantat Happy Birthday impreuna cu Otilia si Tudor.
Tudor and Ligia talk on the phone. And we Skype with them :-) Ligia, we can't wait to see Alex and Raul on the webcam too, so get busy and instal the webcam on your new laptop!
His mom loves him to pieces, and so do we. Otilia told us that Tudor (4) recently made her the coffee in the morning, and he did this twice. When he saw how impressed his mom was, he said "mama, if you are so happy, I can do this for you every morning" (sooo sweet!). So his mom had to forgive some other not so good things he had done recently, like buying 2 games on her IPhone. Tudor always amazes me with the things he can do at 4 years old. He is a month older than Emily (and he is proud of it, ha ha)
Otilia ne-a zis ca Tudor i-a facut cafeaua in doua dimineti.

Finally Jonathan lets me take a video of him reading this book
...and he reveals the secret at the end :-)
(Gordon said he couldn't understand what Jonathan says at the end. Oh well, he says "I'm done. I want a candy")

Misc.
Little People and the next generation
They've got a pretty little cactus to take care of. Cactusses are perfect at our house, as they are not too sad if we neglect them (one reason they are mama's favorites). Maybe we should try pansies too and see if they survive more than 10 days, but in the meantime, we are practicing taking care and ...be gentle with plants. Emily is very proud of her "cactopus" :-))
Our precious guests are playing the violin for us.
and boy, what an audience!
Soo nice to have Bonnie too for a few days.
(above) The two Emilys enjoying their books after they had a little quick lunch, and
(below) Toriana was the first one at the table, ...and the last one to leave the table. How I wish that our kids would be like this at least for a day :-)
We Love Spring
Two neighbours, Micah and Jackson, saw us outside and they came too. We weren't very lucky, as pretty soon the rain sent us in the house. Jonathan thought that he can still stay if he puts his hood on :-)
I love how the children pick flowers for me. And they do this every time they play outside. One time I heard comments like these:
- Children love to pick flowers for their moms
- We give our mom flowers because we love her
- Mom, we love each other each day and each night.
I like that I always have dandeloins in my little 'vase' on the table.
Ha ha, rush hour at the Brier Park slide!
Rainy Days Activities
...and these kids never get bored... they love indoor activities a lot too.
Emily is really into drawing and coloring, and she wants to save all her 'art', putting them on the walls all over the house. We run out of paper and tape pretty fast...
Playing the teacher and the student
Jonathan has his students too. Maybe his idea isn't as weird as I thought first, since in Thomas books the trains can talk... And he is reading to the trains about trains :-)

This happens every day (and many times a day). It is good she loves to read to him and that he loves to listen.
Also A Fish Out Of Water
He aranged all the letters in the right order, and besides ABC which are backwards, the rest are perfect. Then he separated them according to color.
Also Jonathan counts to 100
I liked her idea to make all the train cars the same.

(don't know what happened with this mama, she took lots of videos of us lately. We think she's just too much in love with us) Btw, here is a note from her:
I think I am loving being a mother more than ever. And I am loving this age more than I expected (since I always complained that the children grow too fast). But now I think that 3 years old and 4 years old is the perfect age. We are past the baby stage problems, and we haven't got the "big kids" problems yet. Even if looking back to the babyhood stage, I know I enjoyed every moment of it, I can say a few things now: no more diapers, no more tantrums, more independence, more talking and interaction. We also enjoy learning while having fun instead of doing homework, a very flexible and enjoyable schedule, I could go on and on with things I love about it. I am not looking forward too much to ...have my kids in school all day, which includes a schedule, lots of activities and a much busier life, too much independence, when they think they know better than their parents, more (or different) responsibilities for the parents, etc etc. And as we know we'll get there anyway, we are just enjoying each moment we can spend together now, at this wonderful stage. I love it! I love their innocence and cuteness. And WE love you, Emily and Jonathan, beyond words! Mom and Dad.
In acelasi timp invatam in timp ce ne jucam, in loc sa facem "teme", avem un program foarte flexibil si relaxant etc etc. Emily and Jonathan, va iubim cum nu putem exprima in cuvinte. Mama si daddy.
