It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas!

I cannot believe Christmas is only 25 days away! Time seems to fly lately. I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving. I know I have so much to be thankful for! We didn't get to go home this year because we wanted to have more time at home during Christmas, so my family came to do Thanksgiving here with us. It was my first Thanksgiving at my own house. It was lots of fun preparing and cooking. Me and Mom combined our efforts in the kitchen and I have to say everything came out wonderfully! I cooked my first turkey and it was delicious. I read online about brining your turkey before you cook it and it turned out so yummy and juicy! We have now decorated the house for Christmas thanks to help from the whole family. Emma had fun helping decorate the tree and Hagan likes messing with the lights. It was so nice having family here and we already miss them! Hagan is now only 16 days from being a year old. I can't believe it! It makes me sad he is growing so fast. He is so much fun though and such a great natured baby. He is ALWAYS happy! He is loving real food these days and helped us finish off our Thanksgiving feast! Emma is so funny and we just laugh at everything she says. We have already started doing Elf on The Shelf with her this year and she has really gotten into it. Every morning she gets up to see where the Elf is...when she finds him she says "he flewed away again last night to go talk to Christmas Claus so he can bring me presents". She named the elf Powkli. Who knows where she came up with that name but she did! Hope you all enjoy the Holidays and Remember the Reason for the Season! We can't wait to see all of you at Christmas-time!!

Holiday Market was a great success. We were worried since the economy is not at it's best that this year would not do as well but it was great!! The figures are still rolling in but we are very pleased!! Here are some pictures of our big fundraising event. I am so glad I was a part of bringing this together:

It's finally friday!!

It is finally friday!!! Sorry it has been so long since my last post. We have been so sick around our house. Jason, Hagan and I were all sick so we haven't been much fun around here. We are all better now thank goodness and are back to routine. I am staying busy right now getting ready for Junior League Holiday Market. It is only 2 weeks away and I am ready!! I have been working like crazy getting ready for it and will be glad to have some of my life back once it is over. Emma has a sleepover at school tonight so Jason and I are having a date night since she's gone. They even offered to keep Hagan for a few hours so we could have a meal in peace. It is Emma's first sleepover and Jason and I are taking bets on what time we will be called to pick her up. Hagan is growing and is into everything these days. He is teething which is no fun but he is still a sweetie pie! Well, last night I had bathed the kids and we had finished dinner and Emma was walking around with her Sleeping Beauty microphone and singing. It was so funny so I took a video. It is so cute! She sings ALL the time and has started making up her on songs to go with tunes she already knows. Jason and I kid all the time that the child never takes a breath..she is either talking or singing all the time..LOL! Well here is the video...enjoy! Have a great weekend!

Happy Halloween!

Image Image Image

Halloween was lots of fun and the kiddos got way too much candy. Emma is wanting candy for breakfast now! My little Cinderella and Monkey went through our neighborhood trick or treating. Of course Hagan could've cared less but Emma loved it except when we got to this very decorated house. There was a ghost flying through the air and she got really scare and said ok mom time to go back to my house! It was quite humorous! Anyways...the festivites continue today. We are going to our church festival. They are going to have hayrides, pony rides, games, etc...it should be fun except it is right in the middle of GA/FL game so we are kind of bummed about that but thank goodness for Tivo! Well we would like to say Happy Halloween to everyone and Go Dawgs!
