2 Year Stats...

Bella has grown a lot in the past year. She's gained 7 pounds, that puts her at 26.4 lbs. And she's grown 4 inches, that puts her at exactly 34 inches. She's gone from 6 teeth to 18 teeth.

Some of my favorite things Bella says and does right now:

-she loves to give everyone rocks and shake hands
-she'll do something funny and say "silly Bella"
-she loves to play hide and seek
-"see ya"
-"drive safe"
-"i talk mimi" (I want to call Mimi)
-"wanna mump" (I want to jump)
-"excited" (she says this whenever she is really happy or super excited, it's so cute!)
-"Bella do it"
-"help you"
-she's love to play ring around the rosie
-"Bella toot"
-"what doin?"
-She still loves to take baths
-she still loves babies and her baby dolls


We love our sweet Bella girl and are so blessed to have her in our lives!!

My baby turned 2 yesterday!!!

That is just crazy to me. Time has gone by way too fast.

We had a family party and she was way spoiled once again!

She wanted a princess theme party...here's her cute decor and cake.

She got lots of things to play dress-up and a cute trunk to put everything in. She got cute clothes, movies and things for her new big girl room. This is the cute piggy bank she got. After she opened it she kept asking everyone for monies. So funny! This entertained them for a while.

Blowing out her candles. I didn't even have to help she did it all on her own and wasn't even scared of the burning candles.

Bella talks so much, she can say full on sentences and can basically hold a short conversation.
She has the funniest little personality...seriously so funny. She sings the theme song to 'two and a half men'...c'mon that's funny!
She loves to play with friends especially her cousin Lala (aaliyah).
She loves her babies and is so sweet to them.
And she loves to wear my high heels and my big purses all around the house.


Bella we love you so much! You bring so much joy into our lives.
We are so proud of you!!

We went from this...happy wedding day

to this...our first puppy

to this...our first home

then to this... the birth of our fist baby

and finally to this...our sweet little family of 3!!

Lot's of "firsts" in our first 4 years. And I still love you so much!!!
I'm so grateful for you and for all of your love and support.
It's so nice to know I'm never alone. I know I'll always have you by my side.

Miss Independent...

Bella was watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse so I ran upstairs to pay some bills. A few minutes later I hear the pantry door open and then close. So I go down to see what she has gotten into and I find her like this. I guess it is snack time. Good to know she can fend for herself if need be. Smart little girl.

While we were in Vegas Rachel was able to get some really cute pics of the girls together. So fun to have them so close. And it was so fun to have my little cousin Lili in the mix too!

Cinnamon Rolls...

Last night I made cinnamon rolls for the first time ever. They turned out really good for never having made them before or any sort of dough for that matter. I'm so excited that I can make yummy cinnamon rolls!! They are actually really easy! I've always been to intimidated to make them. Who knew?! Since they were so easy and turned out so good I decided this will be a "new" Holiday tradition. To bake cinnamon rolls around the Holidays!

Christmas Festivities...

Bella with "her" ornament. My Mom got this for her when she was born and this year I told her about it and told her to put it on the tree wherever she wanted. She does not want "her"ornament on the tree. It's either in her hands or placed nicely under the tree on the tree skirt. I've put it on the tree a few times and she'll give me a look of disgust and take it off the tree and say "no no mama". So funny!

Our tree all decorated. I'm trying out a new spot this year. I think I like it.

Wrapping presents. She's so helpful in this department :)! But I'm happy to say I've got all my wrapping done!

We went to the Forgotten Carols on Tuesday night. It was really good and I'm so glad we went. I've never been before so it was really fun. It was a great way to kick of the Christmas Season.

Thanksgiving Vegas Style.....

Thanksgiving in Vegas was so much fun. The weather was great. It was just nice to be out of the freezing cold. We played we talked we ate we shopped we gambled (ok maybe that was just me and my mom) we swam and we ate some more. It was so much fun and so nice to be with family. The little girls had so much fun together.

Vegas Baby!!

We're off to Vegas for Thanksgiving. We are meeting my family and my Aunt and her family from California there. It is going to be so much fun!! I love the holidays and I'm especially excited to be able to spend Thanksgiving in 65 degree weather!

San Diego!!!

We had the best time in San Diego! We left early Friday morning so we had 3 full days to play! Friday we went to Mission Beach, we went in the shops and walked along the board walk looking at all the incredible homes and condos on the beach. We decided it would be incredible to live right there!! Then we went and walked around Old Town and had dinner. Saturday we got up and went to The Wild Animal Park. It was fun but wasn't what I was expecting. We were only there for about 4 or 5 hours and that was plenty. It was cool to see all the neat and different animals. It was just hard with an almost 2 year old. She lost interest pretty quickly and we had many melt downs that day! But it was still fun. Sunday was by far the best day. We went to Sea World! Bella loved it!! She was so good all day. She loved the Dolphins and the Shamu show! We all loved it! It was so fun. They have a little play land for little kids called Sesame Bay of Play, which was great to help break up the day for Bella. She got to meet Big Bird and Elmo. She was a little freaked out by them though. All in all we had a great time and look forward to when we can do something so fun again.

3 for 3

Well we're back from our weekend getaway. And as of today we are all 3 sick. That will teach us to try to getaway and do something fun. I woke up sick on Monday, our travel home day. Then Eric came home from work early yesterday with the same crap that I have. Sore throat, cough, headache and body aches. And this morning Bella woke up with a fever AGAIN and is extra fussy. Awesome!! I went to the Dr. on Tuesday to get checked out because I felt and still feel awful! But don't worry it's not the flu and it's not strep. The Dr. said it could just be viral. Pretty sure they say it's viral when they can't figure anything else out. So I'm going to assume that what Eric and Bella have is just "viral" also. I can handle one or maybe 2 people being sick at the same time but all of us. Seriously? This just sucks!! I am still not even all the way unpacked. My house is a mess. I'm so tired. I was the one that was supposed to be sick and get to be taken care of. But no, I can't even have that. I now have to be sick and take care of everyone else and the house and try to make meals and pay the bills and blah blah blah.
Oh it's great to be home!!

Trick or Treat!!!

Bella was a witch this year for Halloween. She looked so cute and she loved trick or treating!! She would have stayed out all night if I would have let her. She would run from one house to the next and sneak some of her candy in between! She was so brave, she'd go right up to the door and knock and say "trick or treat". Granted she would say it before they opened the door but she still said it. There were a couple "scary" houses around our neighborhood but those didn't even slow her down. She just kept saying "more more". It was so fun to watch her and see how exciting the whole night was for her. She makes everything so much fun!!
