Benson is already 8.5 months old and I can't believe it! This time has flown by and Benson is looking more and more like a little boy and less like a little baby. He is growing up so fast and learning so many new things.
We celebrated our first Thanksgiving in our new home and had a great time. Benson tried mashed potatos for the first time and seemed to like them.

We also celebrated our first Christmas with Benson and had so much fun. We went back to Colorado to visit my family. My parents were there and all of my siblings. It was nice to have everyone together. Benson and my nephew are 2 months a part from each other, so it was fun to see them play together.

Here are some of Benson's recent accomplishments:
- He has mastered the army crawl and we have not seen him move so fast as when we pull out our computer. As soon as we do that, he is across the floor trying to push the buttons. Sometimes though he gets a little stuck...
- He has become quite the little eater. He has pretty much stopped taking a bottle but he loves to try new foods and can't get enough of it.
- He learned how to clap his hands. He will just sit there on the floor smiling and clapping his hands.
- He can now sit up on his own without falling over (for the most part).
- His bottom 2 teeth are getting so much bigger. He still doesn't have top teeth, but with the amount of drool and how much he is chewing on things, I'm betting it won't be too much longer.
- He loves to give his mommy and daddy big hugs and wet kisses. His kisses are more of him attacking your face and then blowing raspberries on your chin, but it makes me smile every time.
- He is very tickelish!
