Dellenbach Cousins visit us in Georgia...so fun!

My cousin Korine and "baby" Vaughn came to visit us in December and we had such a lovely and fun visit with these Dellenbachs.  We were sad Dane couldn't come...but loved the visit.  Vaughn is a bundle of fun...with his love for real hot dogs, love for football and his big smile that just melts you.  It was fun to visit with Korine and share more about life with her too.  I am glad she took tons of pictures and posted them on Facebook so that I could have copies. :)

Lots of cousin playing time...loved having Vaughn here too!  His tackle football techniques...amazing.  He was so much fun!

 Korine loves a TV series called The Vampire Diaries that is filmed 30 mins from our house in Covington, Georgia so we took an adventure to see all the sights. It was fun to see Korine so excited.  We watched quite a few episodes to make the connections with the sights.  

 I love how Azaleia looks like she could be Korine's daughter and how Vaughn looks like he could be mine.  Love sharing some Latin roots with our cousins.  Covington was really pretty...with a cute little downtown square.  We enjoyed some ice cream and of course visiting with the Dellenbachs!

Dan visits Atlanta

Ernesto's friend Dan from law school that transferred to Michigan came and visited for a weekend.  We went and played laser tag and ate at Pancho's Mexican restaurant.  The Mariachi group was great and Ernesto loved that the outdoor space was built around a tree...so fun to spend time with friends!

Halloween Trick-o-Treating with the Adams

Azaleia Halloween night...she was SOOO excited to go Trick-o-Treating this year.  Since our area doesn't have many kids around for Trick-o-Treating...we headed to the Adams neighborhood and had fun with them.  Even in their neighborhood of international residents...it was hit and miss...but those kids LOVED asking for candy.  Super fun and Happy Halloween! 

We love the Wongs

This was our good-bye time to our friends the Wongs.  We loved getting to know them and were sad to see them move to Canada.  They have such a beautiful family.  Hope we get to see them again!

Atlanta Zoo + CNN

 We had a fun day at the zoo with the Hansens and afterward headed to CNN's headquarters for a little look.  We love living in Atlanta...there is always something to do and somewhere to explore!

PS I love when Azaleia wears the Cub Scout scarf...she is sooo cute!

Witcherrific Party

It was so fun to go to my first Witches party...well I guess my first official party.  I suppose I can have a  witch day any day I like. :)  Azaleia was invited too...and she chose to be a Princess...and a pretty one at that.  It was with girls from our neighboring ward Twin Oaks.  Only Talyn and I represented Brockett.  It was fun to meet new friends and to mingle with Halloween festivities!

Azaleia y yo fuimos invitadas a una fiesta de brujas para celebrar Halloween.  Fue muy divertido!  Ella se fue como princesa...una linda princesa como siempre.  Supongo que no necesito una invitación a una fiesta de bruja...puedo tener cada día asi si lo deseo.  :)

Pre-School Halloween Party

Since Azaleia has been doing a Mommy Preschool...we all decided to have a fun Halloween party for that week.  The kids loved the Halloween stories...pin the something on the something...the balloon pop...and all of the yummy cookie decorating and painting fun.  We love our Preschool friends!

Halloween 2012...a return to the Flintstones

I guess that is what happens when you move states...have costumes that fit the adults still...and are living on a student budget...so thus the return to the Flintstones Family!

We talked to Azaleia about her being Pebbles again...since at 1 she didn't ask too many questions then.  I even put some of the show online for her to see...but I didn't remember the show not really being for kids.  Regardless we had fun dressing up and Azaleia loved her Pebbles costume I made her.  She is so cute!

Henry goes to the Aquarium

Azaleia loves her friend Henry and loved taking him to the aquarium.  These two kids are too funny and we really had a fun time there.  Azaleia refers to him as her prince sometimes...she loves him a lot.

I think I will always think of the Georgia Aquarium as a magical place...I just love to be there.

Ballet with Miss Olivia at the YMCA

Azaleia loved her first session of Ballet classes with Miss Olivia and all of her friends!

We were sad to see the first session end...but happy to continue on for more ballet fun.

visiting with Candice and new little girl Annie

The Mormon world gets smaller every year.  Turns out that my old mission comp Candice's husband is cousins to a family in our ward.  When Candice moved to Atlanta our friends in the ward had a little get together to celebrate the new little girl Annie.  It was fun to visit!

 Annie is such a happy little girl!  It has been fun to play with the Munks too!  

Luke visits Atlanta

While my brother Luke was working in Alabama...he drove out to spend the weekend with Carolyn and me.  We took him to the Varsity for some orange cream-sicle slushie goodness and played lots of board games.  I think we let him win. :) On Saturday he got Charlie and Ernesto into Six Flags over Georgia amusement park for free...sweet.  They had a fun time on all of those crazy roller coasters.  So fun to have your brother come visit.  Wish we could see him more often!

BYU Football Game at Georgia Tech

 So excited to see all of the Alumni activities going on before the game.  Nothing like college football!

My friend Sam's father gave her some tickets to the game...and sadly/not so sadly for us...her husband had an interview out of state...so we were able to join her and her friend for the game.  We had sooo much fun...especially since BYU did so well.  It was freezing cold but Azaleia loved the cheering and the Cougar fight song!

En Octubre pasado recibimos entradas para un partido de fútbol Americano entre mi universidad BYU y una universidad aquí en Georgia.  Fue súper divertido sentir parte del espíritu de la universidad.  Azaleia le encanto su primer partido también!  Gracias a mi amiga Sam por invitarnos!
