Wheee!! 2008 is coming :)

I had my last injection on the last day of da month of da last month of da yr! How cool eh :) Finally it is done! No more injections to come :) Wheee A record of 9 injections. Never had so much in my life man!! Hiaks, it shall be something to look back at and laugh at :P

Met up with my primary skul friends. A lot of changes indeed!! Size wise was the most prominent :) From one of the tallest in class, now im da shortest compared to da few guys i saw today!! Hiaks. Super paiseh la, my brain is starting to loose all da names n stuff from my primary skul times. Giving wrong names to da wrong person, not remembering faces when they walk pass me. Im old!!! Signs of turning 18!! :(

Worst was when Chong Yuan was sitting beside my family's table for dinner and he kept looking at me. I looked over and erm, couldnt process with my brains, looked back and started eating again. Horrible la me!! And dat wasnt the onli time it happened le and it din happen to onli one person. Paiseh paiseh. My apologies people! Blinded and brainless me.

Anyhows, had a nice chat catching up with each other's lives and each seem to have very interesting ones :) Its funny to look back at all da crazy stuff dat happened way back in primary skul and the no 1 example is getting whacked (rotan) by teachers. No one escapes in a Chinese skul :P Haha All da lovey dovey stuff dat happened then was pretty funny :) Hmmm, awkward in some sense *blueks* Lols Well, a lot have changed now and yea, believe it or not, this batch of people below are turnin 18 tis yr.

Sick of it

Im looking forward to the flying back bit but not exactly the packing part le. Time just flies man. Can't believe im flying again tomolo. Seems lik i just came back to Perth n now Im going again. Well, I DID just came back like erm a month ago? Hehehe

I feel super lazy now. So lazy till i lazy wanna pop by at the bathroom and shower. Guess dats why ppl grow kulat and mushrooms during their holidays :P

Anyways, all i did was shop n shop lately. N all i bought can be categorized under one big name - Confectionary. Hahaks I also dunno how much i bought man. Hoping that my luggage wont go over weight becos of it :P

Im kinda dreading to meet MAS air hostesses again. Treated me lik i was invisible the last time i flew. So disappointed the last time i flew with em. *shakes head* It felt so much like they were looking down on Asians. So much of being asians themselves.

On the contrary, i've been meeting people around who are just so sweet lately. Been walking around the city and stuff alone, indulging myself in Gloria Jeans n Easy Way along my trip. N there were just these random people i met dat just start chatting with me and all. A smile,a chat, a gesture of kindness.. All these lil lil things are making me love this place more.

Had a nice chat with Allie, my housemate, after dinner just now. Sometimes, i believe all u need is to sit down and have a nice long chat to get to know a person so much more. Well, had fun chatting with u gal! :) Gonna soo miss u all when i leave. No more flying cucumbers and Ah Lians vs Ah Lins for a while :P

Taking up the cross

It was easy to help an old lady take her walking thingy when she got off the bus. It was even easier to flash a wide smile at this cute lil kid who had the sweetest look and smile whom just popped by beside u in the bus, even when ur feeling super down. But why issit so hard to decide on following God's way or my way??

It really hit me today of how unworthy i was to be loved by God. An old christian song dat I've sung over and over in church. "This is my desire to honour You" it goes. It is true dat it has always been my desire to honour God but even so, i have soo fallen short of it. Wrong decisions, wrong actions, wrong words, wrong thoughts. There's just a never ending wrongness in me.

Are we dat lovable till God sent His only son to die for us? I doubt many of us can say "Im such a great person and the world was a better place with me in it" Well, I find it amazing how God can still love us even when we are so faulty. I believe it's more of his grace and unconditional love rather than God loving us cos we're lovable.

An experience that humbled me soo much to see how great his love is. Yet, I'm still thinking of whether i should do the right thing or follow what i want. Sigh sometimes taking up the cross is not exactly the easiest thing.

Ok this time its not the weather. Remind me next time never ask for extra spicy from a Malaysian restaurant! Mee goreng just now was just over my spicy limit. The whole thing was practically red. Now my throat feels sore.

It's commitment Sunday this week. I knew it was on the last week of this month but i never knew it would come so soon. Always thought it was next week. Anyways, rushed n filled in the 2008 Commitment form. Just praying that I'll be commited to wat I've written. Pretty tough but i believe its something worthwhile.

Back to the younger days

Had a whacky afternoon studying at the dinner table with my cute housemates :P No distractionz from the internet and my bed *proudz* We just kept suing each other throughout our study session :P They were studyin law contract (i think dat's wat its called) and its pretty interesting wat kind of cases they have in ther :) From horses to somethin (bug?? Can't remember) in their canned drink. Lols

Ended the night by taking a walk down memory lane to the playground nearby. Wish i was a kid again.. Those days.. no stress, naive and just pure fun! Hiaks jumpin around with so much braveness, never really knowing wat the word "hurt" means. Well, dat applies until u actually fall and start sniffing :)

As age seem to creep by, the more questions we ask, the more things we understand. Even the simplest things we once knew now become complex and complicated. Even sitting on a slide, I started considering whether it'll stand my weight and whether its actually safe. It's amazing how much faith a child can have. Falling was not an obstacle, it just meant a few streaks of tears and everything will be ok. Even a "I hate u" will only last for a few moments, and very soon they'l love u again.

Thankful dat I'll always be a child to my parents and powerful Papa above! :)

One of those days where i took a "nap" and never actually woke up till now . Haha :) Guess my timing wasn't dat far off from my waking up time when I was in St Co. Hiaks Im da type dat studies better in the mornin which is good. Wierd thing was been smellin smoke outside my window just now. Havin block nose now n Im not sure whether its still there. Hopefully its just some bush fire somewher and not someone's house burning.

Goin out with lemon and becoming his sesat navigator later. If he remember to pick up his navigator la :P Osman is flying off today. He finished off his degree and is going back to HK liaw. Not even sure when we will meet again. Gonna miss the Saturdays that four of us spend week after week man!

One crazy family :)

Dinner was yummy! Claire n Brett had tis photo msg board thing hung up on the wall with all the previous homestay kids :P She needed a pic of me so take lo. Me n my housemates were chilling on the sofa then. We had all the clean laundry we picked up from the laundry basket on our laps :) While Claire was switching on the light to make the place brighter, Brett was lik "Take a picture without those clothes". It din click to me at first til Claire went "WHAT!? Can't believe you said that!"

We all burst out in laughter :) Hehe Pictures were taken, laughter faded away n the lights were once agained dimmed. Claire realized that she doesnt hav a pic of Allie either. She was in her pyjammas at tat time.

"But she doesn't wear anything" Claire blurted. We all just looked at her and burst out in laugher againz! Brett and Claire were even alright :P Lols They are just the cutest ever man!

Got into the whole moving house topic with Emily n she asked me not to move. Gonna miss u too gal. It's still a pretty subjective thing lo. Depends whether we can even get a house. Yet another thing to fan after my exam. Hehe

I graduated~

Haha I graduated Yr 11 today :) And tomorrows my exam!! Hehs Did enjoy myself during graduation though. All of us were a bit crazee hehe. Many snapshots were taken alright :P N i shall be guai *for once* and not think of uploading em. Very sure that once I start I wont stop!!

By the way, to the one that had been sitting beside me all yr : If u really ever do read this ever, Im pretty thankful that u've been sitting beside me. Very sure that if u havent, I wud have died of boredom long long time ago. Hehe Decayed in my seat probably :P

Anyways, 15 hours till my first paper and 6 more days till freedom. Completely nadai semangat (don't hv mood) to study! Flying start just finished off their exams today and we are the only ones left in skul :( Even Li is flying tonight *pouts*

Been making myself study in the lbrary whole day. Gud thing was it was nice and cool in ther la :) I like our college's library actually. Pretty decent place to pop by and study. Was there since 8 and graduation was at 12.30 noon. The downside was instead of looking good in the pictures, I looked more like a panda. Haha :)

I feel so mentally drained now.

Oh yeah, and there was a fly attack at Curtin bus stop today. Super many of them!! I think those chicken wing stalls by the roadseide u get back home also not that much flies!! It's worst when the sun was just baking you. My jeans felt lik they were gonna ignite and burn. Hiaks no more jeans for the next few day's for sure! 35 degrees on Friday! How in the world am i gonna think in this weather oh??

Watched Transformers for English class. Cool eh? Watched before dy but its a movie dats worth repeating alright! :) My classmates were so cute!! One was just fascinated by the fact that he is actually watching the non ciplak (non pirated)version of Transformers n just started comparing between the two. Stuff lik how both the ciplak and original had the Dreamworks sign and there was a kid sitting on the moon fishing... He kept the class entertained for awhile :) Wells, this was till a Beijing dude gave him a hard nudge :P Hiaks

Never realized today was gonna be some of our last class for the subjects we've got. Pretty sad lo. So far, I have some really great teachers and yea its sad to think that will prob not have them teach us for next yr anymore. Annette(English teacher) passed out choc freddos and it was sweet of her to do so :) Gonna miss her bubbly character. One of the teachers tat im gonna miss most is Maria. Loving and caring and always with a smile on her face, i enjoyed sitting right next to her in IS classes :P Haha I owe all my high scores in IS to her :) Hiaks Gonna miss Lou (Physics) too! I have nvr had a better Physics teacher in my life. So complicated yet so simple in his classes :P Was never a Physic gal before i came. Shud see my ever more "beautiful" results.

When i met Ester...

Too happy till forgot to write bout this. Chem class today was funny. 1st of all, we were doing carbon chemistry and teacher was teaching bout Esters. Feels so wierd le. It's like teacher keep talking bout you but he's actually refering to some chain of carbons linked together :) Hehe N apparently how i was made was

carboxylic acid + alchohol -> ester + water

Haha ok being lame here. Anyways, remembering the times when i was just strolling around in St Co. and my form 5 fwens just keep saying "Esther you stink!" :P Haha well, i had a totally diff exeprience here with esters. Never smelt the actual chem but teacher came in with a box of wat seemed like coloured candies.

"Cool! Esters are so colourful!" i thought. The teacher passed a green tub down and he's like u can have one each. We were like huh? He sed they were apple flavoured jelly beans n we were still lik huh? "Eat them" he sed. I was sitting right in front. Took one biji reluctantly and just kept staring at it. Knowing well enough that we werent suppose to taste any chemicals and stuff in a lab and the next thing u know your teacher asks you to eat those jelly bean like things?! ****Poisonous**** was wat went through my mind.

"They taste quite good" he added. Ok..here goes nothing. Popped it in my mouth and surprisingly it was in fact jelly beans and summore tastes gud :P He passed down another tub dat was banana flavoured and we just munched on em as he taught us how ester plays its part in all these. Soo kewl! Can't believe we actually ate jelly beans in chem class :)

Anyhows, ester tastes nice to me and for now i shall stand firm and say "I don't stink!" :P

Friday the 16th - officially started buying chocolates to bring home :) Hehe I'll usually start writing a shopping list before i fly and just make sure I get all da stuff i need to stuff into my luggage. Malaysian students are brought up to cope with subjects, not choose and drop wat they cant cope with. History, Moral..bleh! Anyways, lets just hope I'm Malaysian enough to cope up with that subject :P

Can actually feel all the stress slowly creeping in as next year draws nearer every day! Heh~ Dunno whether I'll survive thru the subjects i chose.

Chemistry class was next. A sigh of relief as I was done with my test for the day. However, an undone chemistry assignment in my pen drive was worrying me. I hate soaps and detergents! Hah.. The more research done the blurer I got and it was just impossible to get information that does not contradict with each other. In my lil mind, soap = detergent and they are all the same sorta thing. I was hoping and praying hard that the teacher wud just forget that the word "assignment" exists. Well, my hopes were pretty high cos he never mentioned a thing in class. Erm, tat lasted till the last minute of class la.

"To tell or not to tell" was wat went thru my mind. I did try to finish it up but guess i wasnt trying hard enough. Well, i reluctantly walked up and blurted out the whole situation. Expected the worst to happen. To my surprise, Owen was still cool and he straight away said i can hand it in on Fri. He even explained the whole soap detergent business! Im just so thankful. :) He saved me from hating soaps all my life :P Lols

Okayz, that was morning :) Mood change towards the afternoon. Haha Im like some weather forecast person predicting weather. Anyways, always thought I was someone who can put up a strict face when i need to. Esp after all the training when ur part of this group :)

Walking home was the usual walk lo. Flies buzzing everywher! Stickin to me like i was some big stinky rubbish. Just hope they wud just stop stalking me man! A sudden loud "BANG!!" made me jump to the side. It was as though somthing exploded behind me lo. Wat happened was actually some car drove straight into a van in front of it while waiting in a jam. Poor car. Kasian drivers and poor wallets. Well, it was a good thing that none of them was hurt hurt. Okayz, lets not go ther.

Wen Hui's badminton and ping pong career started off in a kampung Holiday Inn Hotel at some dam near Kuching! :P Hehe The hotel was literally a long house. *memories*

Finito with Chem test for the day Yays :) Super duper hot today. Went up to 39 degrees!! Crazy one. Lucky our school library makes a nice lil hiding place :P

Some ISO staff came and talk to our class about subjects and choices we can make for next year. Looks like I need to do some serious thinking again :( Looking at whether or not to take up calculus again. For an entry score next year, what's gonna happen is tat they're gonna take 3 of ur best marks and average em.

Calculus was a sub i thought I will take up so that I wud have an alternative of doing engineering if I dun do vet. Thing is, just realize that it isn't a prerequisite for either course. Interesting kan? Getting into engineering doesnt need calculus :P Its just a plus to have it. Always thought it was a must to take it up for da course :P Anyways, im not exactly that good at calculus lo. Wondering if taking it wud actually help or just pull my avrg down. On the other hand, I hav no idea wat other subjects to take up if I dun do calculus. Never done any business subject in my life and i seriously doubt i would be anywhere near good at it. Oh yeah, and to get into UQ from WA, I wud need super high marks! :/

5. When you have a dirty cup, its no use if u only clean the outside. Though it may look great, it's still dirty on the inside. Clean wats inside first. Organize your soul and everything else will fall into place.

Cant believe its Sunday already :) Time just flies. Exams are like in one weeks time and uni students are already starting theirs officially tomolo. Supposed to be stressed out and all but im kinda enjoying a laid back Sunday afternoon now. Not a good thing when i have a test tomolo :P

I need a bigger table man. One of those big huge conference tables would be nice :P Haha.. My table now is lik so crammed up with stuff. Anyways, im happy. Took my hardisk back from Pat and now i have more songs to listen to! Stole two Cd's from papa too :P Muahahaha.. Papa's song preference n mine vry similar.Hiaks Wat to do, like papa like daughter Haha. *Ps i meant "papa" k?

Went to Taka with "mummy", evil twin they all. Nice to hang round em again. Gonna miss em tho. By the end of next week many will fly home liaw. Mama predicted that i wont finish my rice and she was rite again!!! Bleh :P Nvm at least it meant i had space for bubble tea *slurps* Watsup with me and food lately man.

Church was kewl today. We had the Sons of Korah performing at Subi and they were good! A lot of diff genre's which some i love and some are not much of my taste of music. But no doubt they were GOOD though!! Lols

Today went to Northbridge festival again with papa, Hywell n Max :) Quite kewl. There were multicultural ppl doing lion dance and these kewl, latin looking guys playing super nice pieces on classical guitars. Ice cream n bubble milk tea temaned us as we strolled through the festival. Not to mention heaps n heaps of FLIES!!!!Then went to one house for garage sale. Hehe Kinda lik garage sales le. Well, last week went for quite a few :P For this week we checked out one n just sang our way through in the car. lols

U know? Can't believe tommorow's SPM liaw and i still really cant believe I am here and skipping everything! :P Its like all ur life as a kid growing up in Malaysia, you kinda look forward for that day when you actually finish sitting for SPM and be free from secondary skul. FREEEEDDOOOM!! Well, my typical Malaysian student story turned not so typical. A sudden change, a sudden move and the next thing I know is that I'm not even sitting for SPM anymore! *wierdz*

Anyways, to all those form 5 ppl out there, Gambateh and God Bless! Pray that God will give you the diligence to sit for your exams. Same goes for all my Uni fwens! *hugs*

Hmmm Hmm

It's amazing how dinner can cheer me up so much! My homestay parents are just adorable! Our "family" here do da whackiest stuff.From Brett trying to pronounce chinese words, to disussions about airports and lil stories here and there. Oh yeah and blaming each other for the splat of sauce on the table cloth :P Dishes was a family thing here at the Wheildons and Allie, our newly recruted family member, does a good job at making sure the dishes are spotless. "Heyyyyy.." she wud say when it din pass her standard. Emily and Ellen are one of the cutest ive met here. They're sweet. We had lotsa fun hangin round the house and hmmm figuring out an answer to why there's always no laundry for *...* in the laundry basket :)

On the other hand, my homestay "mum" is the cutest mum ever. She has a bubbly personality and dresses soooo everly cutely cute! :P U wudn agree more if u see her in person lo. She's a great cook too. Made me fell in love with Korean food :) U-go-gi (however u spell tat) is just soo mouth watering! It's like pork cooked with some sauce then you wrap em up with letuce and just munch ur way through it. *drools* Couldn stop eating it just now. Not to mention all the tons of Kimchi that I ate all these while. Blessed to have them as a homestay family. N seriously, I dun think I wud mind staying on here next year. Love em to bits. Just dat maybe I need more independence la. Too spoilt liaw. Anyhow, this wont stop me from feeling contented with wat I have and share here in this "family".

Been thru too much of these stuff and sometimes i wish i could just run away and hide. Trust me, uncertainty along with certain problems are no fun at all. But the wierd thing was, this time it was just so different. Was this decision really God's way? Tears were still involved, not wanting to let go was still there but the peace that i feel after obeying is just..overwhelming.

I was testing God on this decision with something that i knew was'nt going to happen. Plain stupid I would say. Guess part of me just wanted the answer to be a Yes.

An answer was what i was looking for and I asked for a sign. I wanted to know what God thinks. Din want to make the same mistake like before. I wasn't expecting much of an answer though. Wierd as it may sound, i felt God spoke to me through a friend of mine. For once i wasn't feelin confused about the whole thing. Although it was not the answer i wanted it to be, I guess God's way will always be the better one.

Dear God,
I really dunno whether i did the right thing. I've made so many wrong decisions and not listening to You was one of the worst. I dun understand much of this now and what role this will play in the big picture You have in mind but I pray that You will put enough trust in me to rely on You fully. Strengthen our hearts Lord. Amen.

Wah...so long so long havent written anythin here liaw.. Finally a tiny bit more freer after the past few weeks. Was busy doin diff stuff for the pass weeks. Actually, suppose to be tidying up my room now but... :P Heheehe Bloggin seems more appealing.Hiaks.. My room looks like kena atomic bomb again..After being super busy for the last week.. Feels lik im some Uni student cos this period of time is their "stress time". Assignments, exams and all. Anyhows, was quite happy tat i can squeeze some time for bloggin today..Upload some pics and all. N guess wat? Dun think i can cos Pat Pat has my hardisk with all da pics inside :P Im just gonna go thru briefly lo. Dinner time is soon also. Speaking of dinner time. Its almost 7pm and its still super bright outside! :P Why u may ask? Day light saving n summer is coming.. A bit not used to it lo..

Was having a nap after skul the other day..Woke up around seven fifteen. Looked at my watch and it read 7.15. Looked outside..nice n bright..Blurz as i can be..I double checked the time on my watch - 7.15. I usually wake up at 6.45 for skul and i pretty much din believe wat i saw on my watch. "Crap!!! Im late for skul!" I thought.. Blur n feelin a bit wierd..Felt lik i was at skul just moment ago n im goin again? Time cant be that quick. Before jumpin off my bed n rushed to the bathroom, it finally hit me that I DID just came back frm skul and it was 7.15 at NIGHT!! Relieved..I popped back into the warmth of my blanky and before soon it was time for dinner :P Haha..

N for today..it will be dinner time pretty soon as well. So..to speed up stuff.. Here's da stuf i did for the past few weeks :

30 October - That Sunday after exam, flew to KL with a super excited heart. I got to go home and nobody knows! :)

1-4 October - Spent with my frens and church buddies in Miri! Got to see Nana, Kor, ROCKY!! and lots of other fwens too! *hugs*

5-15 October - Beijing with Papa n Mama + yi po n yi kong (shop shop n eat eat) :)

16 October - Never turned up at skul for the first day. Not my fault as i always say.. :p No connectin flight from Beijing to Perth :P Hehe..Spent a night in Kl. Oh yeah..silly Air Asia went n canceled my flight!

Ive been seeing quite interesting things lately. Things that remind me of creation an its wonderful creator and even some things that are although wierd, I find it kinda kewl. As I walk towards carousel a few days back, the ground was rather wet as the rain faded. SOmething catched my eye on the carpark ground..Was it feathers? Nicely spread out was one side of a birds wings..Lil did i realized there were actually two sides of them... Greyish coloured and nicely spread out bird wings on the carpark ground. Wierd thing was there was no body along with it. I have n idea what i saw of a glimpse was actually real. It was just too perfect to be true. It looked as if somebody had pruposely spread em out. The sight reminded me of angels, soaring above, all perfect.


I realize walks can be pretty meaningful. With spring drrawing near, flowers are blossoming everywher and its just amazing sometimes..when you actually just pick up one and look at it closely. Like how kor said, each petal has their own uniqueness with diff shades of colour and all. Oh yeah, and flowers look great on pics too. Hehehe..Im like dreaming away writing this entry le.. Hehe...Esther lying in a bed of flowers..stress free n somewher in Miri! Haha.. Hw i wish! :P

Anyhows, advise : Shud always look down when u are walking cos u never know when one of the tiny Mr Snails will be passing by :P There were s many of em man that day after rain. They were like dominating the footpath Hehehehe..

Another unexpected day~

Today started off as i walked to the bus stop with the sky drizzling. Everything was still pretty normal as it has been raining for the past few days. Now, heaps of carz parked nearby was something that doesnt happen vry often. Came to realize the military exhibition was on. Thoght i might check it out as i wasnt in much of hurry. They had those trucks outside which were pretty kewl. Din go in when i realized need to buy ticket one. Wasnt tat much of a military fan anyways. Here's a sneek peek of what there was:



I continued my long long walk to the bus stop with my i pod pod. The sound of the helicopter buzzed from above n i cudn even hear wat i was listening to. "Wierd" i thought..never remembering hearing any helicopters at my new place..It was always planes planes n planes :P Din really care but it kinda bothered me when the heli just never left and spoil my song hearing session :P

Things grew wierder as i walked n walked..Video cameras, yellow tapes around and erm..even ambulnces n police. The whole news crew was there too.



Really something out of the blue lo. A lady was complaining rather angrily tat will they just close down the whole Coles n Kmart section n miss out on all the business?!? Hiaks..till now, i still have no clue what was going on. A practice evacuation? Some fire tht occured? I have no idea :P

A mum screaming at the top of her lungs just to get her kids on the bus was yet another surprise for me. I had enuf for the day actually..Fear sunk after all the things Ive seen happened thruout my stay here.

The trip to the city was pretty normal! Thank God for that :P Surprisingly lemon was studying!! :P





We saw a fashion show up close and it was kewl man :P All of em were soo tall!!



Oh yeah..did heaps of shopping in Northbridge n the city too :P Wanna count how many Whittakers i bought? :P *evil grin* The cashier had a hard time indeed :) Haha



By the end of the day, there was... me :) Tired and spending too much for the week!


Plan for next weekend : A trip to a park or something where there's no $$ flying away. I wonder if it works.. :P *Lemon doesnt believe itll happen* Haha Will see how it goes!
