Nothing but Pink
Aunt Jessie and Jordan have a special bond. The bond of Pink. Jessie loves Pink, Jordan loves pink. These two girly-girls got together and painted their nails to match. It was cutie-patootie. Jordan was very proud of her new pink nails and was all about showing them off. She was especially excited to show her daddy. I'm glad Aunt Jessie likes to paint nails and does it for Jordan so I don't have to. :o)

Look Who's Five!!!!!
Jackson just turned five and it was a very exciting event for both him and us. Every year Josh takes off on his birthday and we have spent the day doing fun things just for him. Josh and I wanted to make this birthday very special for him. We thought about what we could do that would make him remember turning five forever. So......wait for it..... we let him go up in a private plane ride. He thought it was fantastic!!! A year or so ago, Josh and John John got to fly in a plane similar to this and Jackson has wanted to go every since then. He got to go up with Josh, Uncle John John and the coolest pilot, Dwight for a thirty-minute flight. Here are some of the pictures. It was really neat, and I was sad to miss out, but my stomach or nerves would not be able to handle being up in a plane, let alone the thought of leaving Jordan on the ground without us...anyway... Jackson got to fly and help land the plane. It truly was one of the best days he has had and one he will always remember.
Here is Jackson waving bye-bye to me and Jordan. This is when my tears flowed....

Talk'n about Heckticity
Heckticity is my new word for a very hectic life. In the last few weeks it's been one thing after another. On top of our busy schedule, Jordan has been sick with some virus and it turned into an ear infection and never ending fussiness. She's been on an antibiotic and still is. Saturday was Jackson's birthday (more about that in next post) and that night/ early am Sunday morning we had to take him to the ER. He suddenly woke up with an asthma-like attack and couldn't breath and was throwing up and was panicking. It was caused by some virus and he had to have a steroid shot, breathing treatment, and a pill to make him stop throwing up. It was horrible for him and just pitiful to watch. I'm so thankful that my children do not have any ongoing medical conditions and this was the first time we had to take him to the ER, even if it was on his 5th birthday. He now has the croup and his eyes have been constantly oozing yellow-boogy-like stuff for two days. Hopefully my kiddos will be well soon so we can get out and enjoy the weather and get back to normal life. I'm tired of watching Milo and Otis!! :o)
It was like 1:30 a.m. and we were at the ER. Jackson and Jordan we both upset and obviously extremely tired. Our sweet nurse came and gave the kiddos the precious teddy bears to cheer them up. Neither of them wanted them, but I thought it was such a kind thing to do and it warmed my heart.
Last night Jackson fell asleep really early on the couch. Jordan knew he was sick and was being so sweet to him. She wanted to be right by him. I put her up on the couch and covered her up with the same blanket and put on a movie for her....
That wasn't good enough. She wanted to be snuggled up right next to him. She is such a cuddle-bug. When we put him to bed she cried and cried that she couldn't lay with him. She has become really attached to big bro.
Here is a picture of my sweet little guy. Thankfully he is feeling somewhat better today.
Also, as a follow up for the fundraiser we did, we didn't meet our goal of $1400, but we were able to raise a good chunk of money for them and over 30 books were donated to them. What a Blessing!! Thank you for your support!!
