Father's Day came early...

Josh received his Father's Day present last night... Image I had planned on including a picture of our special guy, but he was in a hurry...he had a 10am tee time and was anxious to use his gift. Of course, Reid took it for a spin around the neighborhood just to warm it up for him.

And I just can't post without including a picture of our little man...Image

Off to enjoy our long Memorial Day weekend...

A little of this and a little of that...

First, my boys surprised me yesterday with a day trip to Hot Springs to celebrate Mother's Day. We started it off with a stop for lunch at the best BBQ place in the state...McClard's! Mmmmm...so good!

Image
Then we played a competitive game of putt-putt golf at Pirate's Cove in which everyone made a hole in one, but me! That's ok...I let them win. There is really nothing better than spending time with my two boys.

Image I couldn't be luckier than to be this little man's mom.

On another note, Josh finished his third and final sport of the year with the State Track Meet on Friday. Whewwww...another year down. He immediately starts Spring Football on Monday. He will have a short break in June and then fire up the Fall football season in July. The Edgin household is already getting excited! I will also start my new position in July and will use June to teach a class of summer school and get prepared for the new job. Busy times!

Last weekend, Josh and I took a short road trip to pick up this....

Image Now we are just waiting for our specialized license plates to come in that say "Go GTRS." Didn't expect anything less, did you? Go Gators!

And lastly, only four more weeks of school left...let the countdown begin!

My Mama

Image A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts. ~Washington Irving
