Halloween 2011

This year Reid was adamant that he wanted to be Captain Rex from Star Wars for Halloween. However, lately he has been obsessed with wolves. He reads about them, watches documentaries about them, talks about them and soaks in every detail about them. He had mentioned a couple of times that he would like to also be a werewolf for Halloween. Josh and I both put our foot down because he already had a costume...one that he had to have. But, then he racked up 3 awards at the 1st 9 weeks awards assembly...character, academic and the reading award. So, we (read: I, his domino of a mom) gave in and let him get a wolf costume too. Long story short, we had not 1 but 2 costumes for this Halloween and I gotta say, he rocked them both.

Image Captain Rex...pistols and all.

Image He can pose with the best of 'em...

Image This is why our Wild Man got the werewolf costume. He is rockin' the 3rd grade!

Image And the ever so sought after werewolf. Scared, aren't you?

Image It was so much fun watching the excitement they all shared racing to each door.

Image Best friends...luckily, Tag and his sister, Dru were able to meet up with us and do some trick or treating as well.

Happy Halloween!

In the blink of an eye...

Where has the time gone? It has been over a month since I blogged and time has flown by. I will try to catch up with what has been going on. We have had a whilrwind of a first semester. Most of our time has been spent with football - either Josh's team or Reid's team. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching all this football! It really doesn't get any better.

Image My man...he makes me so proud!

Image Mimi and Papi came down for a visit.

Image Luckily, they were able to plan their trip around one of Josh's games.

Image We spent a couple of weekends watching my dad dragrace. Unfortunately, he won't be racing for a while due to rotator cuff surgery. He starts physical therapy on Monday and will be off of work until atleast January.

Image We also went to Reid's school's Fall Fest with Kade and Kara.

And last but not least Josh won his Conference Title for the 3rd year in a row! Yes, that's right, he is that awesome. We are so proud of him and the boys he has coached this year.

This week brings another busy one. I promise to post Halloween pics in a more timely manner. Hopefully, I will stay caught up now...or atleast I will try.
