Montana Skies. Cello. Guitar. Fusion.

Get this and other tracks such as Classical Gas at Bandcamp in a variety of formats and you set the price.

This track is one we decided to do years ago after listening to a lot of Pink Floyd while driving around on tour. At that time, we were listening mostly THE WALL and DARK SIDE OF THE MOON.

The themes, the music, the engineering are a real inspiration to us and “Another Brick” kept calling to us. I think we were somewhere in Nebraska and we said “hey, let’s arrange this for cello and guitar!” We hope you enjoy our rendition here.

Strange Random Pink Floyd Quote:

“There is no dark side of the moon really. Matter of fact it’s all dark.”

The Beatles on iTunes

“I am particularly glad to no longer be asked when the Beatles are coming to iTunes” – Ringo Starr

So it has finally happened. Apple Corps (pronounced “CORE“) and Apple Computer have stopped arguing about names and copyright and this and that and have come to an exclusive agreement to sell the 13 studio albums, plus collections on iTunes. It’s also possible to buy a virtual box set – virtual because it comes without a box. Hmm.

So if you don’t already have a full collection of Beatles mp3s, converted from your legally-bought CDs, no doubt, then this is the time to splash out and get them.

To celebrate the “coming together” of the Beatles and technology, The Guardian‘s Tech Blog offers the following Top Ten of reinvented titles. Don’t miss the comments – some of them are excellent!

1  – Being For The Benefit Of Mr Jobs
2 –  The Long and Winding Download
3  – I’m So Tired of paying for songs I already own
4 – Ebook Writer
5 – She Came In Through My Bathroom Window and nicked my iPad
6 – Let It USB
7 – While My Guitar Gently Tweets
8 – With A Little Helpline From My Friends
9 –  When I’m 64 bit
10 – Mac In The USSR
