Bouncy house fun!

A few days before Jaden's birthday party we decided to bring the bouncy house to Chris's parents' house. Chris and his mom moved a couple chairs around, and the bouncy house fit wonderfully in the living room! Carson was weary at first, but he ended up LOVING it! Both boys did NOT want to leave when it was nap time. We tried to feed them lunch before we went home for naps, but neither of them ate much; they just wanted to go back to playing.

This was Carson's favorite thing to do - slide down the slide!

Tonight

Carson was really tired, so we put him to bed by himself (we usually put the boys to bed at the same time). When I went to put Jaden to bed (after playing a game of Candy Land) this is where I found Carson.

After I got my camera and took a picture of Carson, Jaden wanted me to take a picture of him. He asked to sleep in Carson's bed since Carson was sleeping in his. This is how Jaden posed for the picture, lol.

Christmas was great! The boys got way too much stuff, as usual, but they are having fun with everything, which is all that matters!

I think it's becoming a nightly routine

This is how I found the boys last night before Chris and I headed to bed. It was a new place for Carson, so I took yet another picture. We actually moved him to his own bed last night, because we were afraid he'd roll right off the bed. I woke up at 4:40am to Carson talking. Every time I wake up at night (usually every two hours) I go in their room and pull up the covers on Carson. I didn't do that at 4:40am this morning, because Carson was talking. I was hoping it was in his sleep, so I waited a bit. At 5:00am I decided he had been quiet long enough, so I went in the bedroom. His talking at 4:40am was him talking to Jaden as he (Carson) climbed back up onto Jaden's bed and into his "normal" spot by the corner of the wall. How stinking adorable is that?! And no, I did not take a picture at 5 o'clock in the morning. ;)

Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!

Jaden said he wanted a Wubbzy cake for his birthday, so Chris wanted to try making a very miniature version. We cheated on the "black" frosting (it looks brown) and used canned icing. The pound cake was falling apart (only had come out of the oven maybe an hour before Chris tried cutting the pieces), so this is how it turned out. Chris also didn't do Wubbzy's feet, because the cake was falling apart so bad. Also, the canned icing comes out way too fast, as you see on Wubbzy's tail, lol. He got the hang of it afterwords, but it's still a pain in the butt. Carson saw the cake and said, "It's the wow wow!" Carson absolutely loves Wubbzy, so I think it was a success!

Last night...

...Carson fell asleep in Jaden's bed again. I went to check on the boys and make sure Carson had covers on, and he wasn't in his bed. This is how I found them. I know I pretty much just posted pictures like this, but I thought it was so cute how Jaden had his arm on Jaden.

I don't know how it is comfortable to sleep how Carson is sleeping, lol. His arm/wrist had to be killing him!

Carson also fell asleep in Jaden's bed tonight, too. Maybe it's going to become regular.

What we've been up to lately

So, I started a blog a couple weeks ago, and I never got around to actually doing anything with it. We got wrapped up in more unpacking and cleaning stuff around the house and getting the basement ready to be a playroom. I was also still in my first trimester of this third pregnancy, and when the boys napped I was napping as well. I was just too tired and exhausted to do a whole lot of anything else.

Here is Carson sitting in the crock pot. Sure enough, the second I go to get my camera he starts to get out. He was all the way sitting down in it, silly boy.

After I took a picture of Carson, Jaden asked me to take his picture. He's so weird when he gets his picture taken these days.

This was after baths one night. Carson had sneaked over to Daddy's computer (Chris stuck the sticker on Carson's head). This is his cheeser picture,

and this is him thinking he knows what he's doing, lol.

This was the following night around 6:15pm. Yes, they are the same pj's as the above picture - we had a pajama day. Carson had refused and refused his second nap, and he was non-stop screaming. I couldn't take it anymore, so I gave in and offered to nurse him. He gladly took it and passed out in less than a minute. He only took maybe a 30 minute nap, but it was a much needed 30 minute nap. I didn't want him taking a much longer nap, anyway, because I wanted him to go to bed at a decent hour.

This is the boys jumping on their beds. I had stripped the beds so I could wash their sheets, and when I came back upstairs they were having so much fun, so I took a video.

This day Carson was having a ball playing in the stroller.

When we finally went to bed I checked on the boys to make sure they had covers on. This is how I found them. How cute is that?!?! Carson absolutely loves being on Jaden's bed, and he loves Jaden so much (follows him around everywhere, too).

Chris just pulled the covers up on the boys and put an extra blanket on top of the covers (their room gets sooooo cold when the door stays shut, and we're keeping it shut until Carson learns to sleep through the night yet again). Carson slept there until he woke up at 2:20am. He then went to his own bed after screaming for a couple minutes.

Thanksgiving 2009

First, we had a late lunch at my grandma's house. The food was absolutely delicious! This is the only good picture I got while there. Jaden and Jordan were having fun rocking the recliner.

We then had dinner at Chris's parents' house, although none of us really ate a whole lot (I think I ate the most out of us 4). We were all still pretty stuffed from our late lunch. This is the only good picture of all of us. The boys just would not cooperate.

First Dr. appointment and ultra sound

I had my first Dr. appointment for baby number 3 today, and he rolled in a mini ultra sound machine to check that everything was going well. He did 3 measurements (which you see at the bottom of the last picture - the due dates), and the best measurement he got was this last one. He said he was just going to keep my due date as June 23, 2010! 30 weeks and 2 days left! Baby's doing great! And yes, there's only one in there, despite what Jaden thinks ;)

Computer time

We finally found a mouse out of all the boxes we still haven't unpacked (and don't have a need to for quite awhile) for Jaden to use on Chris's laptop. Jaden loves playing his Nick Jr. games. Carson decided he'd get in on the action, too. He thinks he is such a big boy climbing and sitting in big boy chairs like a big boy.

Playroom

I finally broke out the chalk for the boys to play with in their new playroom (will eventually be the nursery for the new baby). We painted the bottom of the room in chalkboard paint, and the boys were having a blast!
