We had our annual New Year's Party at the Jensens.
We had lots of yummy food and good company.
These little girls were so cute. Brookie wouldn't join the picture.
Cute Oliver.
We made paper snowflakes.
It proved to be a really fun activity.
Then we made some New Year's resolutions.
It's always fun to read everyone's resolutions.
Mine was to take more picture with my Nikon.
I am sad to say, that I don't take my big camera that often anymore.
My iphone has taken over.

This was the first picture of 2015.
Brookie singing:
'aserrin aserran, los maderos de san juan piden pan no le dan, piden queso menos eso"
Such a sweet moment.
So glad I was able to capture it.
My cute kiddos in their Sunday best.

Brookie became a Sunbeam this year!
Can't believe it. Nursery was not her favorite.
It was nice that her good little friend Hazel is in her class too and that Steph is also her teacher. I don't think she would have survived the first few months of adjustment without them!!!
Brookie and I continued going to preschool.
6 hours of preschool, 3 days a week is proving to be harder on Brooke than I had anticipated.
But overall, it has been a good experience for us both. She has made so many cute little projects (like the one above), is learning to take turns and be a better listener. Some days are harder than others and both of us end up so exhausted at the end of the day.
Scott worked a lot in January. I think I spent every Sunday at Church by myself with the kiddos.
I'll admit that getting 3 kids ready for Church alone can be a challenge. Thank heavens I have Brielle as my little helper...and keeping them quiet and reverent without Scott during sacrament meeting is quite the task. We are surviving residency.
Brooke continues to progress tracing her name and recognizing the letters in her name.
At the beginning of the school year, she didn't even know how to hold the marker.
She has improved so much. It has been fun to watch her grow!

This is what happens every day after preschool.
Brooke is so exhausted. There are times, in the middle of afternoon session that she tells me, "mommy, I'm tired!" I feel so bad. She had been working hard!
...and then of course, it seemed like she got every sickness possible from everyone else who was sick at the preschool. My kids are generally pretty healthy kids but this winter was awful! They got pink eye, stomach viruses, colds, coughs, high fevers...everything you can imagine.
I guess, that is what happens when kids are exposed to other kids...so hard to manage...
Poor Braden got so ill, he missed 3 or 4 days of school. I had never seen him so sick.
Here he is giving me a little smirk, he was feeling a little better.
Brookie with her cute doll.
That cute doll kept her company and helped her get through some hard days of sickness.
In between, hard rotations, taking care of sick kiddos, my job at the preschool and trying to keep up with everything; Scott and I were able to go out on a date. It had been quite a few months since we had been able to go out. So this was nice. We went to the Body Worlds Exhibit at the Leonardo. It wouldn't have been the same without Scott telling me about all the organs, all the ligaments, all the arteries and muscles, etc, etc. It was such a fun exhibit. Our bodies are so amazing. Afterward, we went to Bombay, that place is so yummy! It never disappoints.
This was definitely a much needed date!
Preschool continued...
Cub Scouts continued...this time we made some cute and easy bird feeders.
These boys have a blast to be around.
I have loved my calling.
Brooke continued to be a 3 year old, getting into my makeup and getting my bright red lipstick all over her hands and lips. When asked, what she was doing she replied, "I was just putting on some chapstick!!" Silly girl!
More Cub Scouts activities.
They loved this one! Hammering nails and screwing in screws.
...and I was able to squeeze a lunch date with one of my favorite people here in Salt Lake City.
Heather has really been such a great friend to me. I really have appreciated her friendship, our fun conversations and learning from her. I am always grateful for good friends in my life.
