Christmas 2012

Well, better late than never.  This year has been a busy one!

Andrew and Spencer are the best of friends.

It wouldn't be Christmas without putting together a bike! We just found out this month that we put it together wrong...ha! Poor kid.

We had all the toys set up in front of the couch. (and a trampoline in the back yard!) Of course they run to the tree and miss all the "good" stuff.

We celebrated our family Christmas on the 23 and then drove up to Utah for the actual holiday.

We walked into the house to find this wall all wrapped up. Needless to say, after 2 days there were little holes in the paper where kids tried to find out what it was.

It was a wall of everyone's mission plaques. Jordan's parents announced that they had set up a bank account for each grandchild to help pay for missions!

After Christmas we drove down to my parent's cabin in Brianhead to meet up with my older brother and his 4 kids...and to take the boys skiing.

Whew! It was a busy week. One in which we hatched 2 crazy vacation plans. One to Jerusalem with Jordan's family and one to Turks and Caicos with my family. Looking back- I can't believe I pulled them both off!

Andrew's Birthday

Image
Andrew had an orange stegosaurus six party. He had been planning and getting excited about it for months! I planned with Jill to have a "joint" party.  Scarlett had her 3 year old party in the morning and I had Andrew's in the afternoon. We spent the week making/putting up decorations and planning it all out.

Somehow Jill and I thought we could save a few bucks and make pinatas. Andrew did love it and it was super sturdy...just took forever to make!

On his actual birthday we were up in Utah at the Flake's for Christmas. Andrew was SO excited. Grandma got the best cake ever- with snowflake rings!
