Christmas Lights

Image
Seems like it was late this year, but it we made it to see the lights on December 27th. It wasn't too cold this year.

Temple Square lights were beautiful as usual.

Cat Bath

Flash was very curious when Keith took a bath. He had to go check it out and even laid up on the side of the tub.
Image
Literally within 30 seconds of taking this picture, he fell into the tub. He was a wet cat and not very happy.

Zack's Place

Zack was able to find an apartment in Salt Lake City and moved out over Labor Day weekend. Here is his new place.

The view from the back. His apartment is right inside the back door. The windows on the bottom level go to his apartment

 Very empty fridge.

The kitchen leads to a hallway with a bathroom and 3 bedrooms. We miss having him around, but he has enjoyed being so close to school.

Imagine Dragons!

Imagine Dragons came to Usana Ampitheater and so did we. We had lawn seats, so the view was a bit far away, but the music was rockin' on a cold night. There were 2 opening acts that felt like they went on forever. Imagine Dragons put on a fantastic show. It was so worth it. We got to see one of our favorite bands with our favorite people. All around amazing night.

Cedar City Weekend

Image
Keith and I decided to take a weekend trip down to Cedar City. We were going to go for a bike ride in the canyon, but the weather was not cooperative. It was cold and rainy, so we went for a drive into and around the canyon. Later that night, we saw "William Shakespeare's Long Lost First Play (abridged)" at the Shakespeare Festival. It was performed in a small scale theater in the round type of setting. The actors were very good at getting the audience involved and it was very witty and humorous.

The new Cedar City temple. It is beautiful, but was not open yet.

The hotel had an outdoor fire pit and nightly cookout. There was also a life size chess board. It was a very relaxing and fun weekend.
