How do I get to the museum from a cruise ship?
Any cruise ship that docks in Foynes: you will be within walking distance of the museum – we are directly across the way from the port.
Any cruise ship that tenders: a shuttle bus is provided to bring passengers to Foynes village. The shuttle bus will drop you directly in front of the museum.

Are you dog friendly?
We allow all guide/service dogs full access to both the museum and restaurant, but unfortunately cannot accommodate pets inside. We can offer your pal some water and treats outside, however!

In 1989, our patron Maureen O’Hara cut the red ribbon to officially open our museum. We are proud of our achievements since those early days and look forward to many more successful years ahead. Many thanks to everyone for their support over the years.
