  13. Hi, I have been Using Launchbox for android quite a while, since I bought the android version, I've having this issue with the Android export wizard, it doesn't reconogize Nintendo Famicom as a platform, it copies the games, but in launchbox android in the nintendo Famicom, section it won't let me choose an emulator, hope this issue will get fixed soon so I can play my Nintendo Famicom Collection, thanks

When I started importing Nintendo Famicom Disk System games I realized there wasn't any true clear logos. So I decided to make my own! What I did was use the Game Title screens to make them. They aren't the best, but I think they are better than what we had beforehand. This isn't a complete set, but It's 100+ clear logos of most of the games. I'm gonna slowly add these to the Games DB, but for now I'm gonna dump them here if anyone wants them!

  21. https://www.dropbox.com/s/keuedz1m4y31rsr/NES.7z?dl=0 What is in the file? The file is to big to upload to the website. It is roughly 2 gigabytes of every single NES, Famicom, and bootleg 8bit nintendo game I could find. This is a perfect starting off point for people trying to fill in their missing in their collection. Sadly, even with thousands of images i do not have every single image for the famicom. I was more concerned with the american releases. Famicom is a especially hard console to get good resolution pictures of so while most in these are in HD some are modified photos of ebay auctions made to look like scans and low res scans. Here are some examples! http://imgur.com/gallery/3aA7q There are much more of course. Special thanks are in order of course. For obvious reasons thank you to Jason Carr, SentaiBrad, and Kelsie! As well as the wonderful moderators of this wonderful forum and all the rest of the content creators and voices that make the launchbox project so cool to watch grow!
  22. The reason I started using this over the retroarch core or even Nestopia, is because It seems FCEUX was the only only one I could get to work on flipping disk from Side A to Side B on some roms. The problem is with FCEUX, when I launch a game it's sometimes crashing LaunchBox and BigBox. Anyone else use FCEUX and have their launchbox settings I can compare to that has it working? Or know how to flip disks using retroarch or another emulator for the disk system? Playing Doki Doki Panic is easy to me flipping disks with FCEUX, but lost with getting to flip with any of the other emulators. Thanks!
  23. This project is a work in progress and is around 15 percent complete there are roughly 400 front covers http://imgur.com/a/ggYIl Alright so I attempted this once before with little success but this time I will not be bested by the notorious Famicom. For those of you not in the know I have once before tried to scrap together all the little pieces from all corners of the interwebs a comprehensive famicom collection. It was hard to do for a varity of reasons. One of the most obvious being that there wasnt (at the time) a comprehensive list of games. The second is that i myself dont speak Japanese (this is a minor hang-up but when you are sorting out games with multiple sequels without proper numbering it can be a tad bit frustrating) The third is that little effort has been put into such a project before. This is criminal. The historical preservation of art is one of the things that makes launchbox so special to me. My goal by the end of this project is to have a comprehensive cateloge of famicom art. First things first is that I am going to focus on the frontbox art of the famicom games. Everything else is secondary. I will work outward. The most comprehensive list of games comes from a little forum called: http://www.famicomworld.com/forum/index.php?topic=468.15 They are talking about japan only games. This will be the easiest to tackle first. I have completed up to the third year of famicoms line up the games i need left are below in the next comment section. Here is a FAQ's I got some artwork that you dont have/ I got some artwork that is better than what you: Thank you for making my life just a tiny bit more easier, post it down below! Some of the downloads aren't named correctly or just have weird names: Im aware, it will be fixed as far as I know but in due time. Again, I dont speak japanese Some are HD pixel perfect and others are a mess: Im aware, I always choose the largest and most clearest but at the end of the day i am doing this out historical preservation and this is all we got, sadly. Better than nothing I suppose. Are you going to do clear logos, screen shots, stuff like that One thing at a time.

  25. Issue: Im unable to get Launchbox to launch any of my Famicom games. However, if I use just Nestopia ver 1.47 all my Famicom games launch with no issues. I also made sure the disksys.rom folder is in the RetroArch system folder. It appears I need to make a change to RetroArch so it knows where the games are or something. If I right click on a game, click edit, then select the Emulation tab, and change from RetroArch to Nestopia the game launches. The main reason i want to use RetroArch is because the Xbox controller all setup and ready to go. Going thru Nestopia I would have to use a seperate program to get it working correctly. Any ideas of what is wrong or any suggestion I can try?
