Because I was somewhat disappointed by the quality of Virtual Boy box art sets, I decided to create my own a while back. But why not share it here? This includes all US releases, along with all Japanese exclusives. On top of that, there is art for the leaked Prototypes as well! For one such game, the very recently leaked Virtual League Baseball 2, no art has ever surfaced, so I got a bit creative there myself. It is based on the first game, but with a black jersey and a new logo. Better than a blank spot, right? I like to have my box art consistent, so I have somewhat unified the designs wherever possible (eg ESRB rating, VB logo, borders). Also included is a template (Affinity Photo). It's not perfect but maybe it'll be helpful for people to create other box arts in the same style (eg for homebrew). Hope you enjoy! - Teleroboxer (Japan, USA) (En) - 3-D Tetris (USA) - Bound High (Japan) (En) (Proto) - Galactic Pinball (Japan, USA) (En) - Golf (USA) - Insmouth no Yakata (Japan) [T-En by Thunderstruck v1.0] - Jack Bros (USA) - Mario Clash (Japan, USA) (En) - Mario's Tennis (Japan, USA) (En) - Nester's Funky Bowling (USA) - Niko-Chan Battle (Japan) (Proto) - Panic Bomber (USA) - Red Alarm (USA) - SD Gundam - Dimension War (Japan) [T-En by Greg Stevens & Benjamin Stevens v1.0] - Space Invaders - Virtual Collection (Japan) - Space Squash (Japan) [T-En by Feel & Greg Stevens & Benjamin Stevens & Thunderstruck v2.0] - V-Tetris (Japan) - Vertical Force (USA) - Virtual Bowling (Japan) - Virtual Boy Wario Land (Japan, USA) (En) - Virtual Fishing (Japan) [T-En by Benjamin Stevens & Thunderstruck v1.0] - Virtual Lab (Japan) - Virtual League Baseball (USA) - Virtual League Baseball 2 (USA) (Proto) - Waterworld (USA) Share as much as you like, no need to attribute or anything!

This 2D boxart pack is made up of the missing ones from the excellent WallyWonka's pack. I tried my best to keep them uniform, they're far from perfect, most of them have been AI upscaled and manually adjusted, but most of them are decent enough.

I wanted to have art for Wii Virtual Console that reminded me of the experience you'd have on a Wii when selecting a game; the CRT screens, title screens, and reflections. Along with the system themed back drops. This cover art set was created with that idea in mind, though I took a few liberties here and there; like using the games text logos instead of a plain font, and having a band across the top with the System name. With this the VC collection will closely match Wii retail release box cover art, and also the Wii Ware covers that LB/EmuMovies downloads. Make em all look like a similar template/format. I've also included all the GIMP project files in case someone wants to make their own version. Thanks and enjoy!

A lot of the front covers that these use are not mine they were on my hard drives that I downloaded ages ago, don't know who they belong to, I created the 3D Boxes and missing covers. If there are any mistakes or missing covers let me know at [email protected] and I will try to fix them, thanks.

As I own a European Dreamcast, this started as a project to get the EU covers sorted out so that BigBox would look good. There are a lot of good quality scans in the LB db and online, but most of the backs have the spines attached and a notch where the back slotted into the EU case. As we don't yet have an EU case (deeper than the NA and JP cases with a notch where the hinge is) - I decided to split the spines out and fill in the notches. This isn't limited to just EU, I have also tidied up the North American "Exclusives" that the EU didn't get, and included some notable Japanese games that are English "friendly" Specifics: (noting that for the default EU, NA and JP cases to work by region, you'll need to set the region within the games metadata first) European Where necessary, front covers have been tweaked to remove damage and roughly colour matched Backs have had their top/bottom right "notches" filled in Spines have been separated out and edges cleaned up A lot of logo's created / modified to match the EU fronts Shenmue and Shenmue II became a sub-project to get their spines to accurately reflect the box end showing the 2x cases inside (thanks to @goofers for your template assistance). I've included a separate 7z with the other end of the Shenmue cases if you prefer the flat edge version i.e. not the 2x jewel cases inside end (hopefully one day we'll be able to assign left / right / top / bottom images to boxes and then you can use both). If you do want to replicate the look - override the default case to a box, force the Box background colour [ R:65 G:106 B:160 ] and uncheck the "draw image logo" top side option...oh, and don't convert the front / back Shenmue / Shenmue II box images to jpg (from png) otherwise you'll lose the transparency effect of the cut outs ...and finally - I've modified the LB Platform Dreamcast logo to have a blue pixel to reflect the EU console model look North American Not a lot done with the fronts or backs Spines cleaned up - or where the resolution was low - recreated in PowerPoint A few logo's created / modified Japanese Fronts and backs colour matched. Some AI upscaled Spines cleaned up - or where the resolution was low - recreated in PowerPoint A few logo's created / modified Japanese game specifics: Mobile Suit Gundam: Federation vs. Zeon DX - should have the default case over-ridden to a Jewel case with Solid Spine Cosmic Smash / Karous / Triggerheart Exelica / Under Defeat - all should have the default case over-ridden to a DVD case Last Hope: Pink Bullets - should have the default case over-ridden to a DVD case and force the background colour [ R:235 G:67 B:158 ] Ad-hoc Updates For the odd update - such as the updated "NBA Showtime: NBA on NBC" logo - I've added it to the screenshots to save re-uploading the whole Clear Logo 7z (plus saves everyone from having to download the file again for one new logo) 15th August - added Nightmare Creatures II updated logo to the screenshots 16th August - added a separate 7z file for "Golf Shiyouyo: Kouryaku Pack" as (I believe) you would need this game to access the "Golf Shiyouyo: Course Data Shuu: Adventure-hen" course data disc EU Games List: NA Games List: JP Games List:

  16. Commodore Amiga box scans View File I didn't find any box scans for the Amiga in the list, so I found some online. Feel free to use as you like. Now all I need to do is figure out how to add these to LaunchBox and I'll be set lol! Sorry, I'm still extremely new to LB, but so far all of my attempts to update the photos without re-scraping the entire list has avoided me. Hope these help someone! 18. This project is a work in progress and is around 15 percent complete there are roughly 400 front covers http://imgur.com/a/ggYIl Alright so I attempted this once before with little success but this time I will not be bested by the notorious Famicom. For those of you not in the know I have once before tried to scrap together all the little pieces from all corners of the interwebs a comprehensive famicom collection. It was hard to do for a varity of reasons. One of the most obvious being that there wasnt (at the time) a comprehensive list of games. The second is that i myself dont speak Japanese (this is a minor hang-up but when you are sorting out games with multiple sequels without proper numbering it can be a tad bit frustrating) The third is that little effort has been put into such a project before. This is criminal. The historical preservation of art is one of the things that makes launchbox so special to me. My goal by the end of this project is to have a comprehensive cateloge of famicom art. First things first is that I am going to focus on the frontbox art of the famicom games. Everything else is secondary. I will work outward. The most comprehensive list of games comes from a little forum called: http://www.famicomworld.com/forum/index.php?topic=468.15 They are talking about japan only games. This will be the easiest to tackle first. I have completed up to the third year of famicoms line up the games i need left are below in the next comment section. Here is a FAQ's I got some artwork that you dont have/ I got some artwork that is better than what you: Thank you for making my life just a tiny bit more easier, post it down below! Some of the downloads aren't named correctly or just have weird names: Im aware, it will be fixed as far as I know but in due time. Again, I dont speak japanese Some are HD pixel perfect and others are a mess: Im aware, I always choose the largest and most clearest but at the end of the day i am doing this out historical preservation and this is all we got, sadly. Better than nothing I suppose. Are you going to do clear logos, screen shots, stuff like that One thing at a time.
