I've been racking my brain trying to get this working, and I haven't had any luck in finding a tutorial anywhere. I'm setting up a home arcade machine and wanted to use this specific arcade stick because it has two players. I got it working on Retro Arch and on PC games, but when trying to play games through Launch Box or Big Box, it does not recognize the joy stick at all. However, that's only within games. I can navigate menus and everything with the stick, but when actually trying to play games, it's not working at all. I've tried messing around with the input settings in Retro Arch to see if that will carry over to LaunchBox/BigBox, but nothing seems to be working. This is my first endeavor into emulation, so any and all help would be much appreciated.

A while back I built my arcade cabinet, and due to the fact that I did not have enough inputs on the keyboard encoder that I am using, I designed the pause button with diodes so that it registers an UP and DOWN keypress at the same exact time (see: https://tigerheli.mameworld.info/encoder/pausekey.htm). Is there any way to make Launchbox/Bigbox recognize this input to activate the pause screen?

Hi All Thought i would ask here first see if anyone managed to get around this issue. Retroarch is detecting my DS4 as a different device when its wired or wireless. Therefore if i setup the controller for wireless and i need to connect it to charge it whilst continuing to play i would need to remap all the buttons because they change with the device change. i managed to use the auto-config but that doesn't change the hotkeys so causes an issue with that. Is there a way to have Retroarch detect the controller as the same input device if its wired or wireless (Bluetooth).

Hi . I spent hours doing tests with all the methods that are found in the various forums and on youtube to try to make Cuphead work with X360ce , unfortunately, every experiment had a negative aspect and so I abandoned the idea of X360ce with Cuphead . I have experienced antimicro portable for windows https://github.com/AntiMicro/antimicro/releases and finally cupèhead work perfect with my encoder . Now , the problem is : apparently antimicro is not like x360ce that starts autonomously with the game, and then closes. If I leave the antimicro open, it will also impact the launchbox when I leave the game.Do you know if antimicro can be used with a single game like x360ce does? Or is there a different method?Thank you

If we start a game with MAME, and forget to turn on the Wireless gamepad, all of the commands we have set before will be lost . there is a mehotodo for making MAME recognize the Gamepad right away, with the same settings we set before, without configuring everything again?

Everything seems to be running great with my big box arcade cabinet setup except 1 game, Toobin. The original arcade game is 5 buttons (paddle left forward/back, paddle right forward/back, and fire in the middle). It is also a 2 player game. This is fine for me as I built the cabinet with 8 buttons for each player. The problem is in Toobin with MAME emulator, player 2 doesn't exist on the controls. Player 1 is assigned to both joystick and buttons so it is very awkward for gameplay. How can I re-map the controller inputs for this one game without affecting all the others that work great?
