Julia's Blessing Day

Yes, I realized that these pictures were taken in May and it's now October... but, better late than never!

She's here...

Julia Kit was born February 9th.

She weighed 8 lbs. 4 oz. and was 20 1/2" long.

She is a very sweet baby and we're so glad she's here!

Day at the Arboretum

Last week we went to the Morton Arboretum

and enjoyed a nice spring day.

Toby has a love for rocks. When we go for a walk we don't get very far because Toby is always stopping to pick up more rocks. Well, as you can imagine we spent quite a bit of time at this lake watching Toby pick up rock after rock and throwing it into the water.

We also enjoyed the daffodils.

Toby and Rachel loved this sculpture garden. They insisted on going to each sculpture to get their picture taken. I especially love the one below where I think Rachel is trying to hug the sculpture and her brother and instead put her thumb in Toby's mouth.

You can just imagine how much fun the kids had running through the maze. What a fun place. There is also a fantastic children's garden. There were all sorts of things for the kids to climb on and play with. I love this picture of Toby playing in a little house. I didn't expect him to pose so perfectly.

Easter in Cleveland

Here are a couple of pictures from our trip to see my brother and his family in Cleveland earlier this month. We enjoyed some fun activities for Easter and also had a great time at some parks they took us to.

We love to have family so close and my kids adore their cousins.

In between General Conference sessions on Saturday we went to this great castle nearby. Many thanks to Jeremy and Chelle for a great weekend!

"I do it mineself!"

The weather has been so nice lately and we've been able to enjoy some fun parks. I quickly realized that Toby has grown up a lot since the fall.

This kid isn't afraid of anything. As you can see, he loves to climb.

He thinks he is so big and doesn't want any help. He's pretty adamant about it too. It's so funny to her him say, "I do it mineself!"

It's also cute to see how excited he gets when he accomplishes something. I love to hear him say, "I did it!"

Snow

I realize this post is long overdue. We have enjoyed some pretty nice weather earlier this month and I am getting really excited for Spring. It got colder again this weekend and even snowed again a little bit. I was reminded that I had some cute snow pictures that I never posted so I thought I'd better do that!
