Reindeer Game

So we divided up into 3 teams. There was one "reindeer" in the middle and the other team members were tied together by their hands and blindfolded. Then they had to blow up balloons and stuff them into pantyhose that the reindeer was holding. The first team to get their pantyhose stuffed won...my team lost BUT after we compared our size pantyhose to the other teams we realized we had queen size and everybody else had kid size

I left work about 11:30 and made it to Granny's house just as everyone else was finishing eating. We all draw names every year and then Granny & Papa buy for us grandkids...I ended up with money and a gift card to Belk.

This party was at Michelle & Jenn's house...it was very interesting. We did redneck dirty santa. The gifts people were fighting for included a toilet wreath, pat's blue ribbon beer, Joe Dirt, and some boobs to hang from your rear view mirror!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everybody! I have several pics from the ED Christmas Party: Part 2 and from Christmas with Erik's family last night but I'll get to those later. I'm working today suppose to be here till 3 but I"m gonna try to cut out earlier so I can make it to Granny & Papa's.

Erik did good with my Christmas gifts...I was a little scared and refused to open them in front of his family but after everyone left last night I opened them and I got guitar hero world tour, an air gun, and an AL license plate! All were wrapped by Erik!!!

There was also an amazing little incident that happened yesterday at work...I'm calling it a Christmas miracle and it totally put me in the Christmas spirit...I'm not even sad to be at work today :) I'm scared to tell the story on here though...you know HIPPA and all...

Dr. Powell is a genius!!!

My shoulder has been hurting me for months...at least 4 and I've been hoping it would go away on its on but it hasn't so I went to an orthopedic doctor. He gave me a shot of something some kind of anti-inflammatory into the rotator cuff and I am healed! It hurt like a mama but afterwards I was like how fast will this help and he said move your shoulder and see and it was already better! 30 min later I felt like I was 18 again. I can move it all around and it doesn't hurt at all!!!! Its amazing how good it feels especially after having this pain for so long! Anyway if you need an orthopedic doc he is at Brookwood and I HIGHLY recommend him!

Side note: I hate to brag but my boyfriend is the BEST and he's finally agreed to go to New Orleans for new years too! I've been bugging him about going on Dec 31 but he's suppose to work but he finally agreed to go on down after work...YAY!!! So we'll be spending New Year's on Bourbon St and then going to the Sugar Bowl the next day...I can not wait!

Time for Christmas Pics

After lunch we went over to Megan's boyfrien's parents house for cake and ice cream. And of course we had Christmas pics done for the annual Christmas card. Poor Erik...its a wonder I didn't get dumped after this. I made him get up at 6:30am for the graduation, sit through it which was 3 hours long, then go over to their house where they had a cat (which Erik is allergic too) and take tons of pictures (which every guy loves to do). When we left poor Erik had a bad headache and was so congested. Bless his heart...he was a trooper and says he had fun but I don't know. So far I haven't gotten dumped though so maybe he'll stick around :)

Apparently the morning of graduation Daddy was dancing around singing "we're going to graduation, we're going to graduation". I think he's kinda happy to not have anymore kids to pay for. This was us re-enacting the now titled "graduation song"

Saturday Megan graduated from Alabama....she is now a teacher! Thats so weird to me. Anyway, the ceremony lasted probably 3 hours the most boring thing ever! If it hadn't been for guitar hero on Erik's phone I really wouldn't have made it!

Christmas Time and Lee moved in!

Lee moved in today. Lee is one of my oldest and bestest friends from high school and he got a job in Bham so he'll be living with me for awhile until he finds his own place.

I also decorated for Christmas today. I roped Lee and Erik into helping...it is VERY handy to have 2 men around...my own little handy men!
