Happy Easter

The Easter Bunny visited us while we were at Church. (Forgot to take a picture) We had dinner at my aunt's house. She hid a bunch of eggs and had little bunnies for the kids to hold.

My boys are so luck to live close to both my grandparents. I hope Taylor remembers his relationship with them. I need to be better about remembering to take pictures more often. Here they are with my mom's parents.

Finally...

Taylor has been on a neighborhood soccer league. He played in the Fall session and now the Spring session. I don't know how much he loves soccer, but it's a great excuse to get up and get going on Saturday mornings.

We started Taylor's birthday weekend with a party at Peter Piper. We did this same thing last year and this year was another hit. The kids all had a blast. Saturday we started by going to the driving range and while daddy played a round of golf, we spent 3 hours at the "outside mall" enjoying the PERFECT weather. Today, he opened a couple of gifts and we went to church. He was in a new class with new teachers and got sung to. We love Taylor so much. He has been the best kid with all our transitions over the last 5 years.

Time Out for Women

Last weekend I went with a group of girls from our ward to Phoenix to attend Time Out...well, sort of. Last year I went and had a blast, but what I loved most was the Friday night part. The conference and then the hotel with games afterwards. I decided that if I went this year, I would only do the Friday night activities and not bother going to the conference on Saturday. Sterling was so great to let me go for the night. It was a much needed break for me and I am so glad he supported me.

Friday afternoon started with nails. I got my nails done and the other girls got pedicures. We then headed up to Phoenix and checked in to our hotel. We had dinner in downtown at Sam's Cafe. It was so yummy! Carrie and I didn't have tickets for Friday night, so we were hoping someone was getting rid of theirs and we could still get in. We lucked out and got in. I loved Laurel Christensen's talk. It made the weekend worth it. The music and other speaker just did not do it for me. We all left early and headed back to the hotel for the even activities. We stayed up until about 3am. Carrie and I slept in, went to breakfast, and then came home. It was so rejuvinating and fun. Thanks ladies for making the weekend a blast!!!

Austin is the happiest baby. Sterling and I keep asking each other, "was Taylor this smiley???" He's such a great baby and so pleasant to be around. Cheers to 9 hours of straight sleep last night from this cute boy!

Today I am thankful for a well behaved 4 year old and a very happy 2 month old. Both were such a delight today and so fun to be around.

Thankful in November

I love the "thankful" idea I see people doing. I think I'll start. Yesterday (Day 1) i was thankful for Sterling Gabbitas and his amazing driving skills at not hitting the person in front of him too hard when he was rear-ended pretty badly.

Today (Day 2) I am thankful to have a quiet house at 8:30pm, after having a stressful parenting day.
