LOVE DAY!!!

Image

Image

Oh how I love any reason to celebrate!!! So today was Valentine's Day, I think Jaxson asked me every morning for the past two weeks if it was Valentine's Day yet. So this morning he woke up and it was finally Valentine's Day! He was so excited! I decorated the living room with all sorts of fun things! We had red muffins for breakfast and all sorts of goodies waiting for the boys!

Later that day, we went around to our friends house delivering Valentine's. Jantzy kept saying, "Happy Vowentimes Day!" It was so cute! We got to go to Honey's house to get some Valentine's goodies and eat some chocolate cake. Earlier in the week we got a box of goodies from Grandi for Valentine's Day! The boys love getting things in the mail, especially if they come from Grandi!

When we got home the boys wanted to paint a picture frame for Daddy. As you can see it got pretty messy! Jantzy ended up with paint in his hair all the way down to his toes! We had to have a serious bath after that paint job! At least daddy got a beautiful picture frame out of it! ImageImage We ate dinner at home, and just enjoyed some family time! Then we put the boys to bed. Jaaf and I were trying to clean and get stuff ready for Ryan to come in. Ryan was driving in late to stay the night at our house, so that in the morning the boys could leave to go to John Kilgore's funeral. While I was cleaning up our bedroom, Jaaf cam in and said, "Hey can I show you something??" I cam out to the living room, and Jaaf had the table set up with candles and cheese cake! It was one of the best Valentine's ever! It was so sweet ans so thoughtful of him! I have the best husband in the world!!! I can say that this Valentine's Day was a very special and fun day!! Image

Cute Stories!

ImageSo yesterday I had to watch our neighbors little boy Jaden while she took her new baby to the doctor. Jaden is 2 1/2 and a very sweet, yet active little boy! Before he came over, I told the boys that while Jaden is over, lets show Jaden God's love. So if Jaden wants to play with our toys, show Jaden God's love by letting him play with the toy, even if you don't want him to play with it. I fell it is so important for the boys to be able to be a witness for the Lord, even at a young age.
So the boys were all playing, and Jantzy kept getting agitated with Jaden. Jaxson went over and told Jantzen, "Remember, Jantzy, show God's love!" Jantzy's response was, "Ohhh, right, right!" I think Jantz was a little put out, and was forcing himself to show God's love! It was pretty cute!
So then I told Jax, "Why don't you go and tell Jaden about Jesus. He said, "Well sure!" "Hey Jaden, did you know God's name is Jesus!" I smiled and thought, that was a pretty good start!
Later that evening I was putting the boys to bed. Jaxson just couldn't fall asleep. He kept calling me into his bedroom to do the most random things, like draw a picture for him on his chalk board! So we were talking and he said, "Hey mom, God is like magic!" I said, "Why do you say that?" He said, "Because God can come into our house and watch over us with out having to open any doors!" I thought it was pretty cute! I'm sure it made God smile!

A life Loving God!

Image So tonight our sweet Jaxson and precious Jantzen were jumping on our bed. Jaxson kept doing this thing with his arms where he would shake them, then slowly bring his arms together toward his heart. I thought he was trying to doing a Karate Kid move, Jaaf thought maybe he learned some new sign language! So we asked him, "Jax, what are you doing??" He said, "This means Life loving God!" It was so profound for such a little guy! We said where did you learn that, he said, "I think from the Moses movie!" The picture above is Jax doing, "Life loving God!"
"And that you may love the LORD your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the LORD is your life."

The Zoo

Image We took advantage of the warm weather last week and went to the zoo! It was perfect! All of the animals were out and there was hardly anyone there! As you will see in the pics, all the animals were coming out to the fence to say hello to the boys! Image
ImageJaxson is our sweet cautious child. He kept telling Jantzy, "Watch out, don't put your hands on the fence, we don't want the animals to bite you!" It is always so sweet to me how he loves to protect his brother!

Wonder!!!!

Jaaf and I had to go to Wichita Falls on Friday to clean out the house for some new tenants! I was so dreading having to go! I hate to be away from my precious kiddos, but thought I would try to make the best of it. So I turned on my praise and worship music as loud as I could in our freezing cold house with no heater on! It was quite frigid, but the more I cleaned the warmer it got! On our way home from a long full day of cleaning, I pushed my seat back and looked out the window. I forgot how bright the stars are out in the middle of nowhere! It reminded me of a sweet story about my sweet Jaxson. We were driving to OKC/Tulsa one night when Jaxson was a little guy. He was just learning that objects had names! He would walk around the house and point at things and say, "Whad dat?" So as we were driving, Jaxson looked out his window and pointed to the sky and said, "Whad dat?" It took me a while to see what he was actually pointing at. I said, "that is a star Jaxson!" He replied in the utmost wonder, "WOW!" It got me thinking of how awesome the stars really are, how wonderful all of God’s creation is! Oh, to have the wonder of an 18 month old! As we drove home tonight, I looked up at the stars and thought, how wonderful they are! How truly wonderful our Creator is. What beauty He has allowed us to see. May we always stand in wonder of what He has done! "O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens. From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise. When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place. O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!" Psalm 8: 1, 2a, 3, &9
